Hi Jeremy my name is Monde I got my CCNA after I watched your video you changed my life I live in south africa which has a lot of unemployment 3 months later I got a job as a operations engineer at an ISP this month received an offer to work as a network engineer at steel manufacturing plant thank you
Last saturday I have added two 9300 switches to our Core stack (now is 5). All this was done at the company I have started to work after passing my CCNA studying here. Thank you once again Jeremy.
A best teacher in my etire life. only one in million teachers will be a great teacher and you are the one . Thank you alot. I don't how to appreciate. Wish you all the best ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The best tutorial out there, Jeremy explained it so well, he explains it that even a beginner in networking can understand it. I don't skip the ads so I can at least give something back for his efforts. So please, let the ads play out.
I'm studying for my CCNA currently ...but I waiting patiently till I get my CCNA so I can do CCNP with Jeremy. all the best for Jeremy and everyone studying toward any cert.
Multi-Chassis EtherChannel mhmhmhm interesting, that's new for me, through these videos am really seeing the difference between CCNA and CCNP, Thanks Jeremy
Hi Jeremy, I really appreciate this week video since I am planning and researching VSS for my company. And the section about physical port(switch/slot/interface) you covered in the video is very helpful. After passing the CCNA with watching your videos, I got a job offer but felt like I did not know much about the hardware and components 😅
There is always more to learn/do/grow. You will never succeed if you do not attempt. Go for it. Let your potential employer know your limitations, and that you will work hard and strive to keep the network running
Thanks!! A question about quiz 5, imagine that I reload all the boxes in stackwise, will the election maintain or will the third switch be elect as active?
@Jeremy, great work on the content. @24:38, you mention the election is done using the priority followed by the MAC. In other docs online it shows different election process with other tie-breakers in between, details below. Did I misunderstand? User priority Default Configuration Hardware/software priority Uptime MAC address
Hello Jeremy ! I really enjoy your videos and I appreciate the effort you put into making them. I was wondering if you could consider changing the background color from white to another color that is easier on the eyes. The bright white color can be quite harmful and distracting, especially for those who watch your videos for long periods of time. Thank you for your consideration!
we're using STP to prevent loop by bloc few ports and then we're enabling all of those ports with MLAG then how STP will comes to help to prevent from loop, if we're enabling them with MLAG?
Good job Jeremy , i have passed my CCNA exam because of you , and I'm now learning CCNP from you also but i have 1 question , How long or how many video's the CCNP will be ? is it gonna be like the CCNA course ?
I work at a company that has private fibers connecting two buildings about a mile apart using a data center interconnect with about 6Tbps of bandwidth. They have a Nexus chassis switch in each building connected into a vPC domain. It was hard to wrap my head around the idea of a single logical switch being in two different buildings at the same time. VMware ESXi servers with VSAN are connected to both switches via etherchannel to create a stretched cluster. It works well but I worry how bad things will break if we lose connectivity between the buildings.
what is the behavior of SWV during a failover? for example, if the active SUP fails and failover to the STANDY Hot SUP. Does it cause the chassis with the faulty SUP to reboot?
Hy Jeremy, as you have said after stacking physical switches into a single logical switch, changes made on a switches automatically sync with other devices but if there is a situation when we want to change something on a single switch or 2-3 switches not all then how we can do it.
I noticed that in the Example Design at the end of the video, the distribution switches (3 of them) were stacked using SmartWise Virtual. How is this possible, as StackWise Virtual allows only two switches to be connected?
what will be happened if boh Switch in the Sackwise virual or VSS become active (in control plane and the mgmt plane not data plane)? (split-brain issue)
Hello dear teacher I have some questions if you could help me I will be thankful of yours ! we stack the switch’s and if in the stacked switch that have the stand by state is connected some PCs how that PCs act it will automatically connect in active switch or not how will act And the second question is If we have deferent version of switch will they become stacked or not ? Thanks before from your tutorials
Thanks so much for sharing. Been looking for something like this that ex[lains it real good. I have a couple of stack setups I have to do soon. One is 4 9200s and the others two sets of 2 9200 setups. Is this encor course complete?
thanks alot, this video is helpful for me. and I wonder I can use combining StackWise/StackWise Virtual on Core-Switch (9500 series) and connect to VSS on Distri-SW (4500 series) ? I think it is ok, is that right ?

Great explanation for switch stacking...You enabled me complete my ccna and now am on my way to ccnp Encore which am soon taking the exam
ahhhh this was such a relief seeing Jeremy with a stackwise virtual video after hunting for some clarification on the technology

I questioned my existence after this lecture...
haha - it can seem at times that the ground shifts under your feet just when you think you have a firm grasp. Just keep going...

He might take this full year...So you need to be patient as he is currently undertaking his CCIE
Brilliant explanation!
Useful lessons Thank you!
Thanks for updating
Thank you , is there lab video for this subject ?

Perhaps a backup link would be appropriate in your case if you are worried...of course if you lose the main line the system will go down for sure.
Please create playlists based on the topic / courses.. @Jeremy

What about DAD(Dual-active detection) in use StackWise Virtual?
DAD required or not?
Can we connect 9500 stackv, with other cisco single device and make hsrp for it? I would say that should work... cant test it :\
Appreciate this
thank you very much for your help
very informative and detailed explanation! god bless you Jeremy.
Great man
you also gonna upload a video about VPC?
When will the whole course be completed

is it possible to form more than one Virtual StackWise link in the same StackWise switches?
nice
offtopic question : does anybody knows when CCNA retire? I don't want to start do few months and start again... Cheers
I don’t think Cisco has released a new exam yet. Whenever the new exam version is coming up, you will still have 6 month to take the 200-301.
What's application do you use sir ?GNS3 or other ..
He using CML (cisco modeling lab)
@@123keroy thank you.
They advisement so many tools and here getting so boar
I was hoping for some configuration of stacking switches. What video is the configursti9n on?
I don't cover the configuration - this course is aimed specifically at what you need to know for the ENCOR exam.
