Also, everyones music taste evolves, including those of artists Oh, and @RodyTheRoad , that could be, but the Netherlands for example hasn't done that in quite some time. A committee chooses an artists and the artist can choose the music themselves (so either (co-)write it or an unpublished song they have)

It's because "The Ride" isn't even his song! It's by Swedish singer Clara Rubensson and Rafał bought it from her but he doesn't sound well in it because "The Ride" is a song typically for female voice. But yeah, Rafał has really good songs like "Za mały świat" (shown in this video), "Tak blisko" & "Nie mam nic". You should listen to them! ;)

I give all songs 15 seconds, but for some (I think only Spain in this video) the video gets blocked with a clip that long due to copyright and so I had to decrease the length of the clip so the video is not blocked worldwide.
