@@Marlevlyn The adjustment is for riders 120-220. I am 240# and it works great for me. Being heavier it may not give you as much suspension, but I am not sure.

The noise, sounds like ribs on either the post or the insert sleeve (or both!) to help reduce slippage of the post in the sleeve.

If you take a look, there are probably very fine ridges on the post and the sleeve. That just gives a little more friction so you do not have to tighten down as much. That would be the cause of the noise.

Yes, your right. But on the other ones of the same brand they didn't make the noise. It may be a design change, I shall compare them soon.

Main shaft fits securely in bike. The seat and spring shaft rotate and twist as I ride. This doesn't seem normal or safe. Defective or is there a way to fix?
