Kushagra Panwar no it doesn’t. Water lock doesn’t actually do anything other than lock the screen to prevent the water from opening apps and stuff. The “ejecting” water is just the watch getting water out of the speaker so you can hear it again.
my series 3 plays the EXTREME EARRAPE version of that whenever I get out of pool and I have to leave it on the charger for an hour until it sound good again
My series 4 hasn’t come off my wrist since I bought it, besides to charge of course. Stays on in shower, when swimming, when working (mechanic). I must say Apple did good with them
The amount of water that came out was lesser than what would potentially come out if we shake the watch ... Don't know why people are so fooled by these impractical functionalities ....

My mom has a series three that she’s had for 3-4 years so I thought I’d be fine. I actually looked at the Apple Watch series 2 trailer from when it first came out and it looks great to me! You don’t need the newest update to have a functional device.
