A really popular terrestrial pattern for this time of year accounting for countless fish every year, mostly fished dry but equally effective sub surface. There are more realistic patterns out there but I would bet a half dozen of these bad boys that this will catch more fish.
It is a highly buoyant pattern and needs very little looking after whilst fishing. I always pre treat the flies with floatant before they go in the box as shown in the video. If you have not got these in your box, you my friend are missing out! - Спорт
Nice one Lindsay I definitely liked that one I look forward to your videos it’s always good to get an extra one
Had a bit of time while I was doing the weekday ones and was tying these up anyway.
As a newbie to fly tying I just followed your video and I really impressed myself it came out really well 😊 only had my tying kit 2 weeks so I'm really pleased
Outstanding glad it was easy to follow 👍
I'm all for saving money. Thanks Lindsay I enjoyed the video. Tight lines on your next outing. Big Davie

Hi Lindsay, was on Eyebrook last week and had lots of offers on a small daddy, landed half a dozen and to be honest I was disappointed in the quality of the trout, lucky if they were a pound in weight, as an aside we managed to get our drogue rope round the propeller and panic ensued, it suddenly dawned on us that there was NO oars in the boat. Is this the case with all the boats at Eyebrook? Fortunately I had a very sharp knife and we were able to clear the prop.and no damage was done and continued fishing ok. Can I suggest you have oars in the boat or be a bit more circumspect than we were in deploying the drogue. Tight lines and safe sailing. Regards Jimf
Jim, All boats should have oars and rollocks from a H&S perspective I have had the use of oars on more than one occasion. As for wrapping the drogue around the prop......lol thats a right of passage everyone has done it!
Lindsay - do you have a link for the foam cutter. Like to purchase. Also the name. I’m in the USA. Thanks again for your informative tutorials.
Hi Byron, the UK one is here but upavonflyfishing.co.uk/shop but I believe that Fish Food in the US distribute.
Lindsay Simpson - Thanks I’ll try Fly Fish Food, but checkout upavon, also. Stay safe 😷👍
Where did you get the drill tube or exact name please? The thick foam as well? Thanks
