If you had the Hulk 181 9.9 it is time to drop it like it’s 🥵. I mean let’s say it’s worth a million . If another one comes out is it know worth 500000?

9.9 price multiplier will continue to go down,for the simple reason is CGC has reopened the possibility.

Interesting video my guy. I can’t help but wonder, If they took a break from looking for 9.9s and 10s, I think that’s a disservice to submitters who paid to get the quality of their books evaluated. If their grading scale goes up to 10, but they weren’t always looking to see if high quality books are a 9.9 or a 10, then they failed IMO.
They did, Matt Nelson said as much in the interview he did with 9.9 newsstand and west coast davengers. It’s one of the reasons people got upset about it since he basically said they weren’t doing their job.
@@AutomaticComics They are justified in being upset, especially given the premium being placed on 9.9s and 10s. I get that their graded comics go for more $$, but stuff like that shouldn't be glossed over or ignored. Sure, you could re-submit and possibly get that 9.9 or 10 now, but that's like paying them again to do what should have been done in the first place. I can see why people have stopped submitting and/or calling them out. Competition is a good thing and hopefully, enough people will support PSA and others. Otherwise, the monopoly will continue and they will continue to get screwed.
This whole thing is just a scam now . Giving 9.9s and 10s to entice customers smh

No, I’ve been on a buying hold for a little while for some other commitments.
I am so ticked off by this new high-grade trend. I have dozens of 9.8, many of which I can never find a flaw on how carefully I’ll look at them.

What are the odds that a person Crack open a 9.8 from a different company and get a 9.9 or 10.0 from the other Company ???
All the books you feature are severely overpriced. There are probably still someone or someones who have or had a case or two of these at one point. No way the Star Wars #1 wasn't the most printed book of the 70's, maybe even the 80's as well. Anyone under the age of 50 doesn't understand how ridiculous the hype was for anything and everything Star Wars. And once the movie was released, no doubt Marvel went back to the printers for more "1st prints". I wonder how people are sitting on a hoard of Hulk 180, 181, and 182's. I believe there's at least one person with a full long box of 181's. Same with ASM 121, 122, 129. There are no rare 1970's and onward books from the big 2 save the esoteric and High grade Horror books from the early to mid 70's.
You will see much more high grades as CGC was hit & lost a $10mil. Lawsuit ..... So.......give the people what they want and generate more comics to grade. Basically it's Christmas at CGC......GET your high grades whether deserved or not and watch the prices go skyhigh. Now....will anyone buy? Doubt it.
$10 million may sound like a lot. But that’s not that much for a company like this. 3 years ago they were valued at $500 million and I bet it’s more now. And their owner (Blackstone) is worth $168 billion.
$10 million is a drop in the bucket.
@@AutomaticComics We can agree to disagree.......Let me tell you something ....$10mil is huge for a company like this .....especially the board members. No Corp. Likes to lose money on this type of catastrophe. In fact, it may cost the CEO his job.
Buy the comic not the plastic.
PSA should consider hiring you as a grader, or at least a consultant 😅
Now 9.9 and 10s are a thing I bet a lot of 9.8 can really be 10s they just purposely never gave 9.9 or 10s
