@@garrettsnyder219 for pike streamers a good basic pattern is saddle hackle or any long feathers for a tail, bucktail as a body and craft fur or dubbing as a head. If you can get any flash in there that always helps too.
I must say that I’m very happy about how you treat your fish. You definately treat the fish the best out of almost everyone that has a fishing channel on youtube! Keep doing that because you are a great example that people should learn from:)!
I did the most tiring task ever yesterday while ice fishing. I don't own an auger, but I have a spud bar. I had to spud three holes through 15 inches of ice, all to catch zero fish.
Just keep on posting videos, in the Netherlands we call it "fishing" and not "catchsing". It's not always a good day when you go out there to try and catch a monster.
I think that you do not eat fish. I have been following you for a long time and i have never seen you eat one fish. Looking forward to the catch and cook
Broo awesome video!!! If you could come checkout my latest upload!!! Caught my pb rainbow a 28 incher out of the Yellow Breeches!!! Was insane lmao the fish misses my spinner and got foul hooked in the tail 😂 was an insane fight!!!! Lmao wish it got cold anough to do some ice fishing! Here in eastern pa never gets cold anough 😭😂 . Theirs pike in the lakes around my area but can never ice fish for em. Tight lines bro!!!💯👍🎣🐟
Why not cook the pike? They are really good eating, how is that a fail? Only fail is you didn't cook it! Use the 5 fillet method. Could of cooked the catfish too!
There aren't many pike in that lake so I'd rather release them. And the catfish was a different day when we weren't prepared to clean/cook it. I'll definitely be trying again though!
Same thing happened to me getting a catfish on a sucker the other day😂
That catfish was awesome!
Beautiful *Video* Congratulations! Have a very successful week! Hugs and good fishing!
👍🎣🐠🐟🐬🐋😊
Great video bro!!!
Thanks man!
@@peelindrag113 No problem.

Thanks Garrett!
No problem! I’m new to fly tying/fly fishing for pike, what’s some basic materials that are a need?

I always try my best to set good examples. I see too many poorly handled fish unfortunately. Thanks for watching Benjamin!
Peelindrag I really like that you show respect to every single fish! Even the small ones. Thank you for creating fantastic content:)!
Fishing has been BRUTAL here in southern MI.
We enjoyed it

Man I've done that with 6-7 inches and it was tiring enough lol. Sorry that it didn't go well.. hopefully we have open water soon enough!
what lens do you use on your T6i?
Super vidéo l ami
Always good to see a peeling drag vidja. Hopefully two weeks before the pre- spawn smallies start to feed
I'm looking forward to some open water!
@@peelindrag113 right on it's right around the corner
You should show the meal at the end
I wasn't able to film the catch part, so my buddy just took the fish home and cooked them himself. Hopefully next time!
Keep the vids coming good or bad days
Cool video bro!
Bonne video 👍
did you get a new shanty?
Nope mines getting beat up but she'll make it lol
Nice job well done
yeah that's a good slot 7-8"
Nice cat, I have yet to catch a big catfish through the ice. Just little ones so far.
That's a nice catfish for winter time
Sure was a fun catch!
If you ever get a chance go to Drayton north Dakota in July and you will catch more 20 pound catfish then you could ever dream about
Ice looks really thin
Believe it or not but I succeeded my mission. I caught a 40inch pike river fishing. It can be done. Even in the winter.
That's awesome man congrats! Hopefully the rivers thaw around here soon enough!
U should fish in upper Michigan for splake
I'll be doing some fishing around and in the U.P. this year so maybe I'll give it a shot

I like eating fish, I just don't like dealing with the process of cleaning and cooking them. I may try to get more into that this year.
Good stuff! We need to get together and do a Michigan collaboration lol.
110% couldnt agree more
michigan youtuber fall salmon trip?!
