That was awesome so many different species on the same stretch of water bro.. they were all nice size and nice condition too. That last carp was a good size aswell. Great video and good days fishing bro...
Haven’t watched your vids in a hot minute! Just has been a lack of interest in fishing vids in general. Cleary you’re doing something right cuz I’ve been here since you were at 3k. Keep it up :p
Another great video 🤘👍 Sucks for me because I had to miss the weekend opener for game fishing out by me. All because someone decided to break into my truck and steal my favorite rods and my tackle. Went and bought some lures today. At least I can fish this weekend 👍
Nice one Bro, I like the video, good to see a bit of variety. Here in Ireland we are limited to very few freshwater fish that can be caught on the fly. Mainly pike, perch, trout and salmon. We have very few good carp waters too when compared to the UK. Roach and Rudd also but these are tricky to take on the fly.
Hey, nice video! Thanks for sharing! Short question to the tying part: won't the fly run upside down and then the white part of the zonker stripe will be showing to the surface? 🤔 thanks dude !
Yes although I was fishing the fly right near the bottom, so having the hook upside down keeps the point upwards ultimately getting less snags. The rabbit strip was all black, no white side although this water was very dirty so the fish dont get a good look at it anyway.
This is a warm water discharge, so the pike just come in to feed on shad and other small baitfish. But the gar, carp and catfish are pretty much always there. There are several species of saltwater drum although I'm not sure if they are related to the freshwater drum that were in this video.
@@peelindrag113 o cool thanks. Any tips on the best baits for pike? Im going to the Idaho panhandle to fish lake Coeur d'Alene and the chain lakes. Frozen sardines under a bobber work pretty good for them, but what else might do good?
Great video I need a day like that, I'm doing a little lure caught species hunt with a few of my friends a day like that would put straight into the lead! 😉🎣👍
Please do more tying videos

Outstanding video of multiple species on the fly rod! Well done!
Thanks Nicholas! Sure was a fun day.
Some were caught on a spin casting reel
Wow would not have thought that a carp could get c as ight on the the fly. Some nice pike and garden. Great multi species fly fishing day. 😁👌
In the spring and around the spawn they seem to get pretty aggressive at times.. sure makes for a fun fight!

Cool vid man 👍
Thanks man!
Enjoyed the video awesome
That’s pretty special you can blind cast for those carp, anywhere I fly fish for carp you have to see them otherwise you’re outta luck
No kidding, that's how it normally is for me as well. This place sure is unique!
Hey bro where u from Michigan?
Albino boi
Dang nice comment
Awesome again dude..
Sure was a blast!
Another awesome video.
Thanks for watching!
You should do a couple videos with MAV
Maybe sometime
Questions please, are you left hand or right hand person? Thanks
I'm right handed, I just got use to reeling with my dominant hand.
What software do you use for video editing??
Windows movie maker, nothing special.
@@peelindrag113 cool thanks love your videos keep up the amazing work!!
Where is this? Michigan?
Yep
where can we find a stand like that my man!?
Most fly shops should have them or you can get them online. Mine is the Renzetti traveler 2000
Where in Michigan are u?
I live in mid Michigan, but I drive all around to fish.
Music?
#Nomad
Where was this filmed? I've never heard of a place that has gar and pike. Pike like cool water and gar warm water. And aren't drum saltwater?

Days like this sure are hard to beat! Not knowing what your gonna catch can be so exciting. I'm glad you liked the video!
You caught a spotted gar which was the one with the long nose and they do not eat flies
Aaron Lang
Gar do take streamer flies that imitate fish..
Anyone else see the fish jump on the left at 5:13
