This is my first attempt at freestyle aquascape. That just means that I went straight in to the layout without planning or prior consideration of the layout. I was equipped with old hardscape and a handful of new plants I wanted to feature and the rest if free flowing. Verdict: Difficult, takes twice as long and potential failure. Will I do it again? Heck yeah!

I really enjoyed this. Hard to read the text at times due to background color. The Crowntail King is beautiful. I’m so glad you covered the lava rock on great coverage plants. I made the mistake with my platinum double halfmoon of having him lose much of his flowing fins against the lava rock. He recovered but took a long time for the fins to regrow
Ah yes sorry about that, I lost my first edit so had to redo it in a rush. It’s definitely tricky with long finned betas, they tend to damage themselves accidentally. I’m glad he’s better now, and thanks for stopping by!

Hey, find your betta seller, purchase betta (make sure he insures for DOA), then ask him who the transhipper is in your country. Contact your transhipper and find out how much the fee is cor your local transport. Usually if the betta seller have experience with Intl. shipping, they will help you along the way. All the best!!!
