Yeah you right!
Love your attitude!!!
Hi Jason, thanks for your lesson's. Verry clear, good and sure it's Patrion worth. Thank's Jason.

Thank YOU ❤️ soooo much!
That was INCREDIBLE - thanks Jason. 😜
You sir are a genius player and teacher. Thank you!
Awe shucks!!! Thank you!
Just picked up the harmonica a few months back. This single lesson changed the way I played for sure! This is just gold!!!! Thanks Jason!
Awe my man!!! Soooooo happy to hear that
Excellent!
1, intro from this made pull a face and howl like a wolf who just stumped his toe. ( think I get the whole lone wolf/ moon cat thang)
2 , thank you as always fella. A simple approach for lack of a better term but the emotion it emparts is so valid.
3, YOU THE MANNN !!!
Jason !!
Listening to you got me back into finally playing the harmonica in a pretty acceptable manner.I can finally say that around people I don’t feel 😮
My Broseph!
Usually your lessons are two advanced for me but this one is really is awesome but I'mwaiting for you to teach us London dungeon on the harmonica lol
Many thanx….AMAZING FUN!
Thank you too!
Alright good video Jason, I been watching your videos for a long time now? But I also stopped playing the harmonica for quite a while, but now when I see your videos I want to start playing again? But yeah you're right it's the spice of life? LoL good video!
Thank YOU ❤️
You have that smirk of a teacher who has a trick under his sleeve. The trick is that it is so simple.
Fantastic lesson! Doing a bunch with a little reminds me of B.B. King squeezing the life out of a single note.
Un grand merci de France !A big thanks from France ! I like the way you teach it's a real pleasure !
Wow, this really helped me Jason. I actually sounded good to myself!! LOL!! I felt more clarity and fun at the same time!! Thank you so much Jason!! 🙂
Beautiful!!!!
Many thanx!
Thank ⚜️ You
I have learned more from this one lesson than I have in a long time. The way you teach is just amazing. I like your style that conveys more strength and self-discovery. Thank you Jason.
Your lessons are very easy to understand thanks for your help
"Go nuts kids." Thanks dad!
Haaaa
Wow!!!! Mein lieber Freund das alles du machst ist fantastisch!🇵🇱❤️❤️
Simple,Efective.Bravooo!!
One of those lessons that's so simple, but at the same time, can be a total game changer... Like trying to come in on different beats in the measure. You're a gifted educator, Mr. Ricci.
Ricci does it again and again, by which I mean educate and inspire! Thank ya.
Nice one Ace.
Amazing jasonnn
Love that lick too much. Thanks a lot Jason.
Grazie
I find it amazing, and almost amusing, that Jason's lesson videos are quite often more entertaining than typical straight up
white boy blues band music vids. I hate to have to qualify my comment but there's nothing racial intended. So many fine
African-American harp players were / are into the music they're playing, while many young white players seem to be more
interested in impressing fans and themselves with their own abilities. I dig that Jason encourages players to not get stuck
in a rut. "You be you". Start out simple and then kick it up and vice versa. It seems to me Jason Ricci practices what he preaches,
and his fans reap the rewards.
Awe man that's so nice! My favorite cigar reviewer on RUclips is Lee Mack 912 and I'm always there for Lee more than the cigar reviews 😂! Means a lot bro.
Jason blew me away years ago with that" learn the lick forward then backward two for the price of one" . Golden!!! I think this lesson is the same. Golden!!! Thanks man peace
Sounds good thanks
Love this so much man! You’re a legend and it’s great you out this out for us! I love the harp even more now... thanks Mr Ricci!! 😎🎼
Thanks for the lesson this type of lesson helps so much for someone Of my ability to improve thanks My American freind
Love the Jim Liban reference. He really punches it on Talk is Cheap. Waiting for the better half to wake up so I can rip it up.Thanks Jason😁
"fun ways of exploring how many different options there are for playing just those grouping of notes you chose" rythym, rythym, rythym, i love it brah! I play all day just for myself and have a blast! Let it roll!
Excellent, many thanks
Thank you. This helped me give structure to how I practice
you the man jason, thanks for being modest and bringing really useful lessons like this, love from new zealand from a fellow skateboarder and harp blower
Skate or Die!!! Send me a link with some shredding footy!!! Thanks Billy!
This is straight-up delicious blues. Thanks for inspiring us, especially those of us that are beginners!
Thank you!!!
Dude, you have a way of presenting this stuff that makes it feel really attainable but still exciting. Awesome!
Could not agree more
After watching for about 10 years this lesson spoke to me the most now I can move on from the one scale I've learnt. Thanks Jason you're a (swear word) legend!
Haaa thanks Darcy!
Reminds me to Giorgio Morandi. He painted only vases but the variety is incredible.
I think (and hope) I got a bunch of great stuff to work with from this one. You do make it seem sooo deceptively easy. Regardless it was extremely fun to watch.
And the free philosophy was pretty cool too!!
Thanks again dude, every thing you teach is awesome
Man, your idea to simply use first, second and third position along the blues progression and your latest (and clearest) demonstration of the importance and impact of phrasing let me fly in my marine band 😀. And I will never forget your desert and rainforest picture you painted with your unique sense of humour 🙏🏻
Thank you Heiko appreciate you!!! Means a lot to read these things.
Nice simple approach!! Maybe there’s hope for me yet ! Keep on rocking in the free world Mooncat!👍🏻✌🏻🎸😎
Brilliantly simple. Thanks, J.
Fantastic! Deep spontaneous blues -- flowing effortlessly. Thanks for a great lesson.
Amazing lesson!! Thanks a lot Jason! You are the Man, the Boss, the Messiah after harmonica. 💖 🎷
Awe man 💜
Jason? You are simply amazing my friend. Thank you for sharing this valuable info. I am 60 and picked up the harp about a month ago. I have learned the basics (most bends included) and this video has shown me that one can accomplish so much with so little. Much love and harp on brotha!
Awesome! So simple and effective! I haven’t played my harp in a while. I seem to get away from it months then come back to it. I’m glad I found this, I need some simple stuff that I can do a lot with. I especially like the video you did on the pentatonic scale.
Something new to play with. Add this to the other licks and scales you've given me. Love you bro
Really helpful video Jason. Thank you. You got me jamming like I havent been able to sound before. Any more like this would be totally welcome. Very appreciative!
More videos like this coming really soon. This friday is another overblow overdraw video which does cover the blues scale but gets tough with the over draw. Next friday i gotcha!!!!
Really like this lesson to, Awesome!
Thank you AGAIN Patricia 😊 😺!
Your welcome Jason 😊
Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these lessons. You are above and beyond when it comes to your teaching. You're really good at laying groundwork then building on top of it. I always get more out of these videos than a simple lesson.
Thank you very much!
Absolutely fantastic lesson Jason. Simple yet also endlessly complex, full of musicality, a brilliant lesson and one which sets people well and truly on the road to improvisation.
Always so grateful Jason love from london
Ha, there is NO way that YOU learned something teaching ME!
But never the less tickled that you do enjoy it so much for us newbies. (or simply inept)
This was a MOST amazing lesson, and I very sincerely thank you Jason!
You are so welcome! ❤️ 💙 💜
good editing! very fun and effective excellent video lesson, thank you Jason
Been following you for a while. You are unique - great and creative player, interesting way to teach and free spirit. One lick, damn a whole new world just opened! Thanks.
Thanks Steve!!!!! 💜
Damnnit I live this one !!
A really great lesson. I like the cool variations by playing different notes longer or shorter. Thanks 🙏
What a lesson!!! Amazing as always. Thanks, J.
Your way of teaching is amazing. Technical but.... Pedagogical over it.
Might not ever be decent at the instrument, but do enjoy your lessons. Your good people.
I think that LOVE is gonna make you MORE than decent James! Appreciate YOU!
You said about the lick so I thought about The Lick. Thank you for another great lesson!
I am so glad I recently subscribed to your channel. You really give me what I have been searching for to learn this harmonica playing thing, just maybe I can start soloing with feeling very soon . Thanks I'm loving these lessons!!
As ever you put a smile on my face, Jason. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm. 👏👍
Added this to my Watch Later list _and_ my Favorites list...just to remind myself I don't have to play the whole harp on every solo to keep things interesting. In fact, doing so can actually make things _less_ interesting over time. Now, I get to practice filling the _big_ box with lots of _smaller_ boxes.
Rain forests, deserts, oceans, islands, rivers, mountains...there's a whole planet of musical metaphors to explore. Thanks _again_ for the reminder!
Beautiful!
Jason, this is a great lesson!!! I'm a computer guy, logical not so much creative. Improve does not come easy for me. This will help a lot. You have shown how the simple 5-note lick (an easy 5-note lick) can sound so different, based on phrasing. I LIKE IT.
Thanks,
Don
Awesome!!!!!!
great teaching style! I am relatively new to the hate - how do you know where you are on the harp at the early stages of playing? super! Thanks.
Gold ⭐️teacher✅
what a great video it made me smile and thats what music is all about so cheers Jason will have a try at this
Smiling back!!!!
Really helpful, had a harmonica break through with this vid thanks
Appreciate YOU!
My God I love your enthusiasm! I'm going to practice this the second I can slip away downstairs. By the way, your eye is looking good.

What key Harp are you using in this video?
Hi! It's a harmonica in the key of "A" and also it's listed at the beginning of the video and the description box too. Most my videos do that but sometimes it goes by kinda fast! Thank you for stopping by!
