Serious Blue's Clues vibes here. I love the format. kept me on topic... some. THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO JASON. I bought your mic from Lone Wolf Blues and it really is fantastic, smooth and buttery. i love the side vents, the paint (hot pink in my case) is phenomenal, high quality and has two or more layers. Its way heavier and more well built than any of my past mics. Exactly what i have been needing.
@@jasonricci As soon as I started playing scale intervals and things that sound just the slightest bit musical, I ordered your mic, too, Jason. It is really fun to play amplified through my old Line 6 guitar practice amp. Thanks Jason!
Jason, Patreon Fan , a different world, this format was way fun, I blew harp to the annoyance of my wife and then replayed again through your encouragement at every step.~ Marty
Hey Jason 👋 Oh man 🤣😂🤣, I just loved your "faking it" encouragement . As always, great video and loads for us "minimooncat's" to get out of it. Hope your good 👍 🏴👋😁👏👏🎼
In in ocala florida thanks jason i didnt inow i could get gesr down hear. Just been hear a year from Louisville ky. I appreciate your help. See ya on road one day brother
Love 3rd position and never quite really know what to do with a backing track, so this was awesome!! Man you made me go places down in the first octave and found a funk I didn't even know was there! I did follow along a bit at first, but then couldn't help what happened next and it was.. magical. You made me play things I'd never have thought to play, just with a couple of notes to kick it off, and given the time and space to explore them. Well done, can't wait to do this again!
Funny Friday. Loved this!!! Do more please! I’ve never done 3rd so it’s great having you there and letting us try it. I really thought you could hear me. 😂 ❤
Loved this and this really helped with exploring my phrasing. Also helped to remember to "sing" the phrasing to solidify the phrasing in my head first then replicate on the harp. The encouragement and your loose approach keeps it fun.
I’m definitely weird. I went for the A harmonica as my first choice. Then I bought a seydel big six harmonica in C. Why the big six harmonica? Because I can put it on a necklace to take with me everywhere. Then practice anytime. Pat Missin 365 tune book is my go to for practicing when out and about. Jason Ricci videos for practicing when I’m home. Health and prosperity mooncat 🌙🐈⬛
Jason you are great! love your teaching style, hopefully one day I'll learn how to improvise and take a scene! your videos also are great, totally crazy visual effects but that's you 100%, I hope one day I'd travel to the states and jam with you once
Nice one dude, love this vid, got me going into one of those hypnotic harmonica trances, super fun. Awesome backing track too, thanks to Arrick Garringer. ✌️👍🐱

hiya J, love this, - been too busy sorting stuff and moving home to even practice on deliveries, you give me a kick up ass - harmonicas going back into the truck - gonna catchup 🤣😘👍😎luvnhugs to both❤
Thanks Jason, I’ve had such a s##t day, with doctors and stuck in traffic, but this lesson just left me with the giggles! Ur facial expressions and laugh I couldn’t play a note without, then later I got the jam. Great lesson, the patron suggestion was timely. Don’t know if it is repeatable lesson style. Thanks for all the lessons and good life advice!
I thoroughly enjoyed playing along with this morning’s Free Friday jam lesson. I am glad you mentioned that you are playing in Marshfield this weekend. I will have to try and make it to see you in person. If I do I will surely say hello. Hope you have a great time playing with Desoto Tiger
I will have to copy the licks down and practice them for about a week or two before I can try to free style them into a jam. But I will do it! Thanks mystro!
This is a great video! Also freaking hilarious! I have had to make multiple videos myself trying to show affirmation in between takes and it is probably the most awkward thing ever you are a true pioneer and wonderful teacher, Jason
Hey Ricci man!!!! Hope your well Bro!! Sensational lesson!!! Completely different dynamic man! I loved the progression of it. Started simple, but those simple licks ended up being perfect little phrases in a cool solo!! Thanks for trying something different man!!!
@@AdamWestUS of course 😎 Here, most people at home makes what is here called "turkish coffee". It is milled (or grinded) at finest, smallest size. It can be made in ordinary stainless pot for coffee, but traditionally it is made in a pot made of copper with a shape that is optimal for making such a coffee. It is called džezva here, so maybe googling "dzezva" would show you how that looks. I also make coffee that way OR I am using what is called caffetierre or moka pot. That italian thingy with metal filter that use pressure for making coffee. For that, coffee is grinded a bit bigger, but in a hurry (or lack of propper grind) finest grinded coffee can be used, but it can mess up the filter so you sometimes have to start from beginning. Then my crazyness comes to take over, and then no matter am I making coffee in steel or copper pot or in caffetierre...I put exactly how much is needed, and then I put a truckload more. Baristas here use milk for 3.8% of milk fat, and people at home use whatever they want but 3.8% is highest fat we have in stores. I dont use that, I use dehydrated milk, and with that I come up with I dont know...like a gazillion % of milk fat, BUT I put powder not liquid milk. That means my coffee now have creamyness from milk but it has less water, which gives another boost to that truckload of coffee. And I usually say that my life isnt sweet so theres no reason for my coffee to be bitter. If you put my amount of sugar, that will make absorption of coffeine (and other stuff in the cup) really rapid fast. In other words, when I worked as a chef, colleagues often wondered why I dont take my coffee from the bar and waste time for making my own. Most of them tried what I drink, and one waiter (son of the owner) said that one sip of my coffee is stronger then all coffees he made in 2 days 😂😂 I admit that it seems to me now that I accidentally make mistake that lead you to think there is some croatian coffee. There isnt. Unless I patent that what I make, then maybe it will be. But sorry, we dont have special sort of local coffee and such stuff. We do have some domestic brands and we do have some imported stuff. All of them have their virtues. I think we dont have Starbucks here and thats great for my mind, because when I hear that people ask for a "frappucinp with salt caramel, maple syrup, chocolate" and whatever else Im starting to ask where is coffeine in that cup exactly? Also, besides milk and sugar the only thing that can go my cup...if it aint cognac, then it better be rum, bourbon, or any other thing with a propper % of alcohol...and that should be a damn fine % of alcohol, perfect for Sunday coffee, or when its cold 😂😂 Sorry if I misslead you to believe that there is actual Croatian coffee. Maybe some of your stores has croatian stuff, so you can check if there is Frank coffee, usually a red box of 250 grams of coffee. Its not #1 on the planet, but it hase nice aroma, and a nice way to coffeinize your organism 😎 Hope you dont mind for a reading material that wasnt very helpfull.

Very simple and effective ❤
Great idea! Thanks to Arrick for suggesting. And thanks to Jason for doing it. Absolutely LOVED this lesson!!! Gotta do these on the regular! 👍✌️🤙

So the song is in key of G minor and we play with Bb. What position is this? Because I love the feeling
Hi J. How about a follow up call and response lesson in the same format? This was awesome.

Jason may be a detail. In the middle octave you use a double stop and not onlower octave.
You can't really get them the same there. Run out of harp.
So I have been trying this with my new rack. It's sooooo awkward. Does anyone have any advice on playing with a rack for beginners? Thanks in advance.
Bummer, I don't have a Bb
try on an F by ear if you have one
9:09 who is filming ? Who is playing with the zoom ?
Just editing. No filmer. It's an option on Imovie.
