For the first drill, where should I keep my eyes on? Should I look at the screen or the line on the platter (Im using Hurcules T7)? Big thanks, this video is so helpful🙏🏼
You should practice trying NOT to look at the screen as much as possible, so definitely the line on the platter. The more you get comfortable with looking at the line, you eventually won’t need to look at the line too much either 💯
Hi Thank you for sharing this video, it's very useful. I got the Rev7 and I can't drop it on beat. I practice every weekend, and I still can't get it. Do I need to change any settings on serato dj pro, so that when I let go the platter it would drop on beat? Thank you very much in advance 🙏🙏
You’re welcome!! Dropping on beat more so requires lots of practice versus changing any settings. Takes some time to get a feel for it!

everytime I scratch my hand keep sliding or slipping off the platter..what should I do to have more grip or more control..could it also be that am gripping the platter too hard the cause ?
The goal is definitely to grip the platter as lightly as possible. Holding it harder shouldn’t necessarily make your hand slip off, but it’s possible. Try holding it lighter and see what happens!
My jog wheels are not motorized so I feel like it could be harder. I really should have got the rane one instead of the ddi srt1000 frfr - DJ PARIS
I would definitely say it can be tougher with controllers. The sensitivity and feel is just different, but after a while, it’ll become second nature. Just gotta get that motion right until it feels comfortable, but I def feel you!
