Our Rating System:
We rate albums out of 10. Any album that scores 8 or higher gets a Toe Tag. If an album gets Two Toe Tags then it gets added to the list in the link above. We do not review EP's but we may cover them in our New Release videos should they come up.
In regards to our Reaction videos:
As many of you know RUclips can be an unpredictable and often unfair place when it comes to copyright rules and their enforcement. If our video ends up getting cut due to copyright reasons it will be labeled in the title as a Review rather than a Reaction. The music video portion of the video will be cut out and you will only see our before and after thoughts. Unfortunately this is the best we can do under those circumstances and we would appreciate a Like rating on our videos to help us overcome any negative algorithmic affects.

People are underestimating how fucking awesome this song is and what this means for the metalcore genre. A++
Lol, please. What does it mean for the genre? Literally nothing here is new or groundbreaking in any way.
You're clearly not an OG. This song wreaks of Fall of Ideals. This album will be iconic. I'm sorry you have to be cynical about something so epic.
@@NaturalHealingFL I've been listening since Darkened Heart, which is exactly why I know this isn't anything new lol. This song would the weakest track on TFoI. It's solid instrumentally but Phil's cleans have become worse and more overused with time, and they bring this track way down.
Love it all you want man, but acting like it's groundbreaking or something is weird and inaccurate.
@@hurpdurp916 A supergroup is giving us The Fall of Ideals 2 and you are complaining. Boooooooooooooooo
@@hurpdurp916 You have a terrible concept of new music man.. lol
This song is Fall of ideals quality. Glad to hear.
it really hyped me up when I saw that Jason Richardson (Chelsea Grin, Born Of Osiris) and Anthony Barone (Shadow Of Intent, Beneath The Massacre, Babymetal) joined the band
The addition of Richardson and Barone can’t be understated - this is definitely a new era. One hell of an introduction.
This is def a new era for the band with Jason richardson as lead guitar and Anthony barone on drums. Im looking forward to the new album which is almost done and self produced
I love it! Reminds me a lot of The Fall Of Ideal era,, glad to have them back! Love seeing Phil on Timcast, dude is really smart and I always look forward to seeing him on the show.
Same. He brings a practical aspect to it. Cuts through the ideological stuff and goes right for the heart of it. He is even willing to call out the Libertarians for their idealism over practicalism.
I saw the notification for the music vid 2 min after it came out. I was trying to sleep and was like damn my guys dropped an absolute banger.. ill stay up and listen lol
The lead guitar and the drums especially made this track hit pretty well. I’m excited for new ATR! I just bumped Fall of Ideals and Victim of The New Disease all day yesterday. Victim has aged like a fine wine to me. God rest Oli’s soul.
The drummer is non other than Anthony Barone, ex drummer of Shadow of Intent for the album Melancholy, for A Night in Texas, Beneath the Massacre, Babymetal, so between him and JASON RICHARDSON in guitars, they have two powerhouses in the band, if they use them really well, this could be an amazing album.
The producer for this album is Josh Wilbur who has produced the last 3 Trivium albums as well!
The last 3 trivium albums were trash. Luckily atr might be pretty good still
@@terryface 🤣 ok
@@terryface You are higher than a kite man. Trivium's last 3 albums were great. Am I saying they are better than Shogun or In Waves? Absolutely not, but they are still solid.
@@terryface This is such a bad take. Saying their last three albums are trash is like saying you never like Trivium in the first place. What are you even talking about dude? By that logic you should be saying this new All That Remains single is trash too. Both Trivium and All That Remains put out two shit albums in a row in the same time period and now both have made comebacks. Lay off whatever it is you're smoking.
What a comeback! This fucking slaps!!!
Finally it seems like they're back. The cleans in the chorus feel like a Rocky montage song but metal version lmao
Sick song. Their new drummer is the drummer Shadow of Intent had on their record Melancholy.
Oh nice! That's a Toe Tag album!
Glad you guys picked up on the Trivium vibes in certain parts, I noticed that too.
Phil and Jason did an interview on friday and stated that they have 10 songs coming up, they are just in the mastering phase.
I’ve loved these guys for like fifteen years. This is peak ATR
If your into ATR check put @TimcastIRL he's a featured guest quite frequently on there!!!
I love this song!!❤❤
Also wanted to tell you! All That Remains will be on the Megadeth tour, also Mudvayne will be there! I saw Mudvayne at Ozz-Fest in 2005! This is a great song, thought the video was pretty cool also. I thought the drums sounded great. Great reaction/review! You're the best metal channel as always!!!🤘🤘
Agree with Vile on all points 100%. Cool track. We'll see how it plays with the album. 🤘
Honestly this is my favorite stuff from ATR, just hits all the right notes for me compared to their other stuff. Seems like it has much more diversity in the sounds and it meshes well.
This song is an absolute banger!! Great reaction boys!
Getting a lot of Trivium and OG A7X vibes!
Holy shit this song rips .
I’m glad the new drummer sounds good. The old drummer was awesome and one of my fav band members. Hope everything works out for him
I thought it was awesome. Can’t wait to hear the next song!
This clearly reminds me of old atr. Phil’s still got it, I’d argue, he’s improved his range. But I keep getting a Howard jones, end of heartache/rose of
Sharyn kill switch…vibe. With some new technical guitar stuff added from Jason. Great come back song!!!
I love this song!
I’m a huge Jason Richardson fan so this was bound to be a banger for me lol
Much better than expected
I’m going to play this like the last In Flames album. The first song was great, hopefully this follows the same suit as forgone.
It’s like 2000’s metalcore never left. I love it so much.
I just watched a reaction video of this song a few hours ago, that was freaking awesome! I recommend you check the song Rainbow of Shadows from Lethal Accords, they are a power prog metal band from Brazil that are coming up with an interesting proposal, you'll enjoy it 🤘
Phil and Jason both confirmed last thursday in a YT interview with Nik Nocturnal that there is indeed an album coming (10 songs) and its 98% done in the whole process just waiting for the mixing to be finished.
I miss Oli on guitar but Jason brings a new sense of urgency and articulation to the music that has been lacking. Hopefully the new album is full of incredible songs like this one
Great review as always and great song.
Gotta review new falling in reverse song
Their heads remind me of bobble heads on your dashboard
That riff they do over & over sounds a lot like the one Oli plays in Not alone from fall of ideals
All that remains still have yet to top their best album "The fall of ideals" I'll definitely stick to the classics. ✌🏻🤘🏻
Victim of the New Disease is my #2 album from them. I’d highly suggest checking it out again if you haven’t already.
I like it more each time.
The album is coming. It's basically done. Possibly another single dropping in 6-7 weeks. They're working on a music video in the next couple weeks.
the new drummer was the drummer for shadow of intent before their current guy so im excited to hear the BRRRRRRRRS in a new album
Victim was dope, ya'll should revisit that album.
I LIKE IT
It’s still ATR but more modern.
Still amazing, and the new members are all excellent and still keeping the homage to Oli and I can’t wait for this album TBH 🤘🏻🔥
They were on the Nic Nocturnal podcast and they are finished with this new album, it’s being mixed and they are on their own without a label. Phil hinted at heavy and very OLD SCHOOL sounding, sometime in 2024
Not a bad song, not really my style though.
Heavy hitters from Rivers Of Nihil & Dark Tranquility this week
That drop...
OG metacore giants are back
This fell a bit flat, but respect for the loss of a band member. Just this aussie chics opinion. Great reaction fellas.❤
The chorus is my least favorite part, but it has grown on me after a few listens. Great track over all. The riffs and overall melodies in the song are fantastic. And excited to see Jason Richardson with them now.
cmon alex bent is overly hyped, barone destroys him in every sense
Shit take and tribalism
Oli rolling in his grave. Sorry i try not bring negativity to the channel but this just sounds like a Jason Richardson side project with Phil on vocals. Didn't like it.
If you only knew that OLI said Jason would be the only person he would want to replace him & they were friends
@@christianmusician16oh that's cool just doesn't sound like all that remains
@christianmusician16 Well said. Jason Richardson was literally Oli's personal choice of replacement if ehe ever had one and I don't understand what's not to like.
Its everything ATR was with Oli. Dual guitar harmonies mixed with shrieking leads over rhythms, shredding solos, and layers upon layers of pinch harmonics.
This song could've been on an album like Overcome and fit right in
Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying are still carrying that torch. They never disappoint.
