    You say slow version but as far as I can see this is roughly as fast as it gets played with pipe bands

      The slow version is after the fast version. A lot of fiddle players play the tune more as a jig than a 6/8 pipe march to be honest so the slow version here sounds pretty slow if you’re a fiddler. Maybe not so much if you are a piper though.

      @@fionafiddler I’ve only ever really listens to it on the pipes. Interesting video none the less as I’ve began to try to teach myself the fiddle
