Thanks for sharing your wonderful Mandolin information with us. I have been trying to learn to play mandolin after playing guitar for years and your RUclips channel is very helpful! Especially when it's being taught by a fellow from Scotland! My Great Great Grandfather moved from Ayrshire Scotland to the US in the 1800's. Maybe it's in the DNA, but I've always been drawn to Scottish/Irish music. Thanks again and I look forward to hopefully one day being able to play the mandolin with the help of talented people like you!!
I wrote a tune I call rude robins jig a while back and now just realized why it sounds so Scottish because of the snaps I play it with. Thanks for putting a label onto this technique. You have an interesting mix of tunes to learn on your channel.
