I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

I successfully trade in my own portfolio, and also follow others because I'm interested in their strategies. I realized I've got better at managing the trader's strategies too. There's nothing wrong at all with having someone far more dedicated manage some of your portfolio.
Having an lnvestment advser is the best way to go about the market right now, especially for near retirees, I've been in touch with a coach for awhile now mostly cause I lack the depth knowledge and mental fortitude to deal with these recurring market conditions, I nettd over $220K so far, that made it clear there's more to the market that we avg joes don't know

I bought a large some of ETF's this morning, QQQ, SCHD and TQQQ but I'm not still satisfied with the performance of my portfolio. I just liquidate half of my Tesla holdings, trying do more researches on how to invest better but my schedule wouldn't let me.
First my portfolio cracked $50 million this week and I'm happy to share this wityh you, this may or may not be good advice based on your time horizons for retirement/age. I am not at retirement age but am semi retired so I need income from my taxable portfolios since my 401k/IRAs are still "not available." 401k/IRA has growth efts. Core positions include s&p, nasdaq, semi conductor, full market, and bonds. There is overlap and I'm ok with that. (VOO, QQQM, SMH, VTI, TLT/TMF) The income generating portfolios have some dividend staples like O, JPM, ABBV, etc. But there are higher yielding ones like SVOL I have a large position in, and hold a combo group even though there is overlap of DGRO, SCHD, VIG, JEPI/Q, all 5 treated as 1 position.
AMS28K will rule the market. An outstanding project.

Why does the bid prices fluctuate so much it’s like everytime I put it half way the bid goes up so I have to keep moving my bid up until I’m in then when I’m in it stays at the same price and the bid drops damn near .30 from my initial get in bid price but I’ve moved it up so much that it got hit soon as it drops like that again and the stock price remains the same
