      Was thinking the same thing. I completed my degree 10 years ago, just needed a recap. 30 minutes seems long but what he managed to explain in that time would normally take a few 90 minute lectures.

    The charisma here makes learning material so much more interesting. No matter how interested people are in a subject, it's so much harder to learn when the lectures are dry and boring. I always come back here when I'm confused becuase the energy really helps make the information way more approachable.

    Dude!!! Thank you! I have Masters in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering and my wife is Civil. Needed to calculate shear forces across cellular membranes. My wife said easy and used Mohr's circle and did it in like seconds! I went the long way around and it took 7 minutes. Just found your lecture to help me nail this down. Thank you man!

    Awesome. You just took me back 30 years. I have a current project that seems very complex but can be easily solved using the circle, a scratch pad, some simple trig, and time. 👍

    Got 7/7 on the final exam question for Morh’s circle watched this on the morning of the final exam. I missed the one day we covered it in class. Managed to get an A (4.0) thanks to you, no doubt.

    Mr Jeff, there was a slight error you made with regards to angle phi on your Mohr's Circle. You wrote down phi= 29.47 degrees instead of 29.74 degrees

    Thanks for doing this video Dr. Hanson! I’m beginning my studies for the FE Exam and I’ll admit that Mohr’s Circle used to seem like alchemy circles to me until I saw this video. Your explanations and clarity helped me significantly in understanding how this works!

    Great video. One minor correction on the angle shift transformation. It's 75.74 instead of 75.47 which throws the calculations off a tad. The last 2 digits may have swapped places. Still, a better demonstration than I had in my own class, which is why I am here. Obviously!
