When i was a kid, this scared the shit out of me, today i admire the tecnoglegy and admire the fact that they travel around and sætting all this crap up day after day.... XD
i rode this with my little sister, she cried because she saw the carriage ahead had sparks on it and she thought it was on fire. She bawled her eyes out screaming ''MUM!!! HELP US!'' I felt rlly bad and she hugged me as we went in and she thought we were gonna die. i still get teared up at it t this day. I have a fear of ghost trains now lol.
Many years ago, at our locan carnival, they had a walk-through Haunted house. Usual wax museum tableaus, it was pretty entertaining, but one of the best things was a simple touch in the entry hall. They had a medium sized sepia portrait and the eyes followed you. No matter where you stood, or how many people were in the area, they all swore the eyes were pointing right at them. Took me years to figure out how it was done, and I finally got the answer from a Warner Brothers Foghorn Leghorn cartoon. It was a simple illusion, but I'm not going to spoil it here because as simple as it was, it was Effective. And shortly, I am going to have a portrait in my living room, and the eyes will follow you everywhere.
What I love in those things is the campy, kind of 80s (they probably are that old!) images. They feel like a good, old, cult horror film to watch on a Friday night.
I remember going in a pretty awesome haunted house in I think myrtle beach. Wonder if it’s still there. Mind you , it was the nineties so it’s prob defunct
Way back in the mid 1970's, Coney Island in NYC had a similar ride with a crazy mouse effect. It was independently owned and not maintained. We got on this ride and it was chaos. The Brakes did not Function so the Ride would just take off. none of the Scenery were in it. Just Dark and a Little Light. When the Ride was about to end there was a final dip and one of the assistance would stand there to catch the car to slow it down. Still slammed into the car in front of us. It was during the time when they Wanted to Bulldoze Coney island. 2020 and the Amusement Park is Still operational and better than ever.
AJ Bennington this one was near the top of Dorset I believe, it might have been the same one as jersey isn’t that far from there, just across the channel

Old school Halloween rides were the best, especially when you ended up bruising from being rocked around.
A free boxing experience on a ghost train get knocked out by the cart

Gotta love the Buffy monsters painted on the outside 😂
I'm sure werewolfs like THAT will not scare ANYONE!!!!
The storm that's brewing is scarier than the ride!
I love that there's just a big painting of Thrall Randomly on the front.

Memories of when I rode this with my freind from school.
Awesome ghost train and house
Awesome footage. I remember coming across a photo of this one on the internet. Also, the gray sky makes the carnival look pretty ominous.
Thanks! I always hate it when people record with shaky hands and just film the floor instead of the props😂
