Thank you , so simple but what a difference in the sound quality.
Thank you Adam. This was very helpful.
I forgot to add earlier that my Nyquist prompt is blank.
Oh, and by the way Adam, this is my first time recording an audiobook and it's also the first time dealing with a program like Audacity.
Hello Adam. I'm in the middle of recording an audiobook and I'm having this issue with the noise floor being too low. I came across many videos and yours was the simplest to follow. Having said that, I tried out all the steps that you show in the video above, and the problem persists. The AXC check doesn't even give me a number after it's done with checking the recording. All it tells me is the following, "too low" -inf dB Warning (too low - Dead silence sounds unnatural." Ever since yesterday, I've been trying, and the issue doesn't get resolved it just gets worse. Then I have to undo the steps all again. I have a deadline to complete the book by November 25 and....will you please help!
Nancy
Hello Nancy. I have a video of how to setup the ACX tool. This will make your life easier. Once it’s installed and you use it your audio should meet the requirements. Also, please email me at adamrothstein29@protonmail.com if you have any more questions.

@@adamjrothstein Oh, thank you so much, Adam! I'll be downloading the tool right away. And thank you for the email address. Actually, I checked out your About section for an email and didn't see one so thanks again. 😊
@@adamjrothstein Thank you.
