Perfect! Thank you for creating this video and for making it easy to understand! Thank you!
I cicled through 10 videos on double speed by a lot of people who wasted the viewers time. Thank you for making this video.
This was EXACTLY what I needed to know. Thank you so much! Subscribed.
I'm astounded by how fast & simple this was to implement.
Thank you so much for this guide! *Subscribed*
Thank you! That Amplify effect just pushed my file right over the line into RMS parameters. Whew!
I appreciate the video. The interface has changed slightly but easy enough to locate. Thanks so much.
This was awesome and right on time for me! You make this easy. I realized some steps I did not take before seeing this video. I actually uttered the words "I love you!!" to the screen when it worked. lol lol
Thank you so much for this! So clear and easy. Problem solved!
This is AWESOME help!! Thank you!
I wish I could thumb this up harder, I was resigned to just offering my mp3 as a free download for email sign-ups, but ACX accepted this straight away after a fix. Awesome, thank you.
Extremely helpful - THANK YOU!!!
Glad it helped!
Huge help! Thank you
Thank you. It has been helpful.
Brilliant thanks very much from the UK
Thank You so much. It worked perfectly.
Thanks for the help!
When I am setting my amplification it will only go up to a certain point - and it's 1 point lower than I need it. If I go where I need it to be the "Apply" button is greyed out. What am I doing wrong?
This doesn't seem to work for me - with whole project selected, I analyse contrast and get a value of -33.85dB - I then set new peak amp to -6dB (amplification then reads 0.0) so when applied I still end up with value of -33.85dB
Same here
Anyone find a solution? I had the same issue. Mine was -29 and then when I did this it when to -30
If you guys are still looking, I found the answers on this video now I'm all sorted. ;-) - ruclips.net/video/0ZeDtwBminw/видео.html
When I try to amplify, it is lowering the volume of my audiotrack. Any reason you can think of why that would happen?
This works well when your narrator's in Spain already working on another project and you're in the US
Good info... thank you. it is a fine dance once you have done a track to get the peak and the RMS both in range... change one and then the other if out of range. Normalize one and the other is out of range... yikes. How do we get it to be recorded in the correct range in the first place? I'd watch that video... for sure . Thanks again for your excellent info. Best, Joe Partial list of my more recent projects...
Great idea Joseph! We'll certainly take that into account for future tutorials.
We must help my friend victoria. ❤️
My version of Audacity only has one waveform option to view. Which version of Audacity are you using?
It will not allow me to click "okay". Can you help?
I don’t have the waveform db option, only the waveform . How do I go by doing this is I can’t get past first step?
The screenshot is from an older version. You should be able to choose 'waveform' and proceed thru the rest of the steps.
how did you decide on -6
my track is recording at -14.78db, I tried this method and it did nothing. What am I doing wrong?
I've done this several times, saved and closed the track, reopened it, still getting -28 Db Not sure what I'm doing wrong, following every step all the way through.
