@@jimscales8054 I am *actually* a farmer and rancher, and I agree that thing is flying through the field. I don't think we have any fields that I could cut at that speed, even after rolling. If I'm lucky I can cut between 6-7 mph (or around 10 kph).
@@AndrewHecker85 yeah we never did hay, only bush hog cutting of waterways and ditches.. so this type of equipment on this scale is always interesting to me
Good one George we have been trying to make hay / silage since March but it won't stop raining we have a cyclone coming in on to the coast in the next couple of days so it looks like we have to wait a while yet. John
Farming Life Australia you on the north coast some where? Lol I’m just chilling in drought affected southern nsw whatching the money drain away as we irrigate grass!
@@benjaminbauer4883 G'day Benjamin Bauer Yes North QLD we have a cyclone coming and at least 100mm in the next few days I don't think we will get any destructive wind it should be a tropical low by the time it hits the coast. Before last year we had quite a few dry ones I know what its like sometimes I think I'm mad. John
@@benjaminbauer4883 Mainly Rhodes we bale a bit of signal at times as well it depends on whats going on sometimes we grow sorghem and make silage out of it. john
Hi George will this be bailed or chopped? I like all of the different drone angles, good thing the hawk didn't grab it. 🙄Thank you taking the time to put out the video.
The mower cuts the grass plant at the bottom of the stem unlike a garden mower which mulches the grass into small pieces for compostation. The rear mower on the tractor also has a conditioner which helps the grass dry quicker for easier baling or less time compacting in the clamp. Correction: the rear mower on this set up doesn't have a conditioner but some do :-)
Could you do a video to a nice music soundtrack ,,would be amazing ,,go on have a go..you mastered that at the start of your films,..i think you should have a signature video soundtrack ,that is heard through your videos, in between your commentary,..
You buy that Fent with E.U subsidies same as everything else no wounder you farmers want to stay in the E.U that's a lot of money to cut grass must be a lot of money in grass
Super stuff as always. It’s nice to get a video with the noise of the machines at work rather than being dubbed over with music
Anyone else twinge hearing the stones? Lovely outfit and camerawork as usual George!

Hi George great video where is the farm you are working from and please keep the video's coming
Fendt... nice :))
Great video and nice work with the drone. What kind is it ?
Does it not hurt the regrowth of the grass to cut so low or does that species not mind it?
is this the field where do you spread for 4 to 6 weeks ago.is this fendt a favorite to te jcb

Ya know George, you are gonna drive OLF absolutely nuts with this video........
Lol why?
Well, assuming a lot here, but I think OLF is a haying addict LOL.
Nice job George. Few stones there. How come Henry opted for a plain mower instead of a moco. I'm not criticising I'm just curious

I've yet to see any of George's crowd do any chopping. They seem to just bale and wrap for silage.
Here on Greece we dont mowing because the rain
👍
👍👍👍👍👍🚜🚜🚜
Top vid George mate how big was that field some great drone shots there as well
Cheers Davie didn’t catch that bit
Which is your opinion for claas mowers ?
Just put the front mower side guards down and hey presto, nice and quiet
Can you do a machinery tour at some point please?
What grass seed do you use?
The Stones 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Nice shooting George.. How do the mower cut the grass? is it just like a bigger version of a normal home used mower? Or different somehow!
The mower cuts the grass plant at the bottom of the stem unlike a garden mower which mulches the grass into small pieces for compostation. The rear mower on the tractor also has a conditioner which helps the grass dry quicker for easier baling or less time compacting in the clamp.
