Silage 2023 - Mowing with Fendt 724 & Claas Triples

Taken last week on Wednesday and here's another farm which was getting their 1st cut done, this was day 2 of this farms mowing. Andrew here with the Fendt 724 Vario and Claas triples busy dropping some good quality 1st cut which was picked up next day which I managed to make it to. With thanks to Andrew for the tip. Great video, I can't believe anyone that would by a krone big x, when you can use a tractor with triples, and save money, the tractor is far more useful, just saying.....

Thanks Tony. To be fair that's true and correct, however over a number of years of paying a contractor to do the work you're quite a way there to buying a forager with the money you've paid for someone else to do it for you. And you have the flexibility to do your forage as and when you want. It just works different for different farms

Yes they were back then for smaller acreage / smaller farms but there are larger farms these days and that sort of kit isn't at all quick to cut 300 acres
