You are living my dream my son! Before emigrating to Canada in ‘95, we had an FW30 and a MF4840. Used to run a 4m Cousins level lift on the FW, but never got a big plough on the FW, just a 7f on the Massey. That old girl will be a perfect match for the 9f. A mate of mine once said half the world’s problems would be solved if everyone got to do 3 weeks ploughing every year. Couldn’t agree more. Keep the videos up mate, quality content & thanks!
Looks a great plough George, I can't wait until you start stripping and painting. Hopefully you will have applied equipment soon. The FW combo will be good . Well done George 👍 🔧 🚜
Brought back a few memories George off my old workmate back in early 80s same plough and tractor bit of sod with heavy clay soil Needed plenty of space to move it around 😊👍🚜
Great video George.Glad you sourced that big plough for the FW.Popular setup on big arable estates back in the day.Hope your spare parts turn up soon,it was worrying seeing the fire in the cab.
Hello George I love a good dowswell plough and yea like u say most of the metal in good order look forward to the restoration keep up the good work look forward to seeing the next video 👍👍
Hi George, With that on the back it looks the part , I don’t think a small one at the back would look 👀 right lol. Thanks for the video you take care of yourself and stay safe.🚜🚜⭐️⭐️👍👍
I absolutely love the blue and white scheme of that FW-30. I believe there was several variations of the blue and white on the Ford 4wd articulated tractors. I’m guessing that Steiger built those?
Better to put that plough on a simba toolcarrier. The 3 point linkage with a direct mount plough puts a hell of a lot stress on the arms and chassis of the tractor.
George older tractors could pull away bigger plough even though they hadn't the horsepower of today's tractors I worked for a farmer who had a 1464:county and a knervland 10 sod reversible that's about 35 years ago great video George top man no drama just does things naturally no drama best out there by far
@@GeorgeSaunders I fish everywhere but not there... yet. My ponds are across the Big Pond. But I can see the fish jumping from here. 🐟🐠✌ How is Zipper by the way.
Feck me George! That’s a right thing! Gott see that rig out turning some soil this autumn 😁👌. Have fun this weekend , I’m taking my big girl to a show up here to give her a run out
Be careful George, my old boss had a 10furrow like yours on a challenger 85e and that used to pick back of tractor up. That's was with the 2 wheeled boggy.
Nice... no good for me though No auto reset for the stones 😅.. pity you couldn't try the tw on it .. I can here you now .. Phoning ahead asking if there's wide gates..... No like really wide gates 😆.. its going to look dam impressive though.. No pto work for it though unless it has one fitted ? so no baling😮😅 .. stay safe 🏴 Ps hats of to the other jcb op ... well done..
12” furrow widths? No top link needed. Keep the rear wheel and assembly really well greased. Be careful driving through any villages or on any roads with and corners in them. As you turn the tractor, the plough will swing wide, which is very disconcerting for any other vehicle to see happening. I used to have to drive a similar rig with a JD 8430 artic through Halesworth, which is now all pedestrianised. It put the sh!ts up me, let alone the pedestrians, by Barclays Bank and The Angel Hotel!
Great job George and Dawn, weapon of a plough, well wear👌👍🙏😎
Great to see the new beast has stopped smoking, and the plough 👍 can’t wait to see this machine used in anger for the first time on the channel

Fair play that lady can drive a loadall. She would put a lot of blokes to shame.
And exactly why would you presume that a guy would be a better driver? You dinosaur😂
George you naughty boy what a pair of absolute. Classics mighty tw paired with the uss enterplough
You'll be wanting a pivoting headstock for that! Makes moving it around with an artic so much easier!
I've got one in the pipeline 👍
I also put a ram on the rear wheel so it can be steered too.
Looks a great plough George, I can't wait until you start stripping and painting. Hopefully you will have applied equipment soon. The FW combo will be good . Well done George 👍 🔧 🚜
That is a job for applied for sure, I was thinking about getting one after doing the trailer 🤔

Absolute beauty spot on George 👍

George… Mate, we need to see Liz in the big new Ford rolling in the field with the new plot.
I'll get the camera out when she takes it out for the first time 🙈
Plows here are al sold at scrap price.. I have two that I haven't hooked to in many years that need a new home. I just can't sell them for scrap.
Both bottom ploughs? Reversibles never really made it over your way👍
best of luck with both are happy ploughing george
Very nice mate!!!!

Big smiles george
Well done 👏
A nice Cousins Flatlifter next buddy. 👍👍👍🇬🇧
Hi George Nice one Thanks again
Can’t believe you hooked the top link on 🙈 a tractor that size you’ve got it on three wheels
You r Living the dream
Nice new toy , get the blasting gear fired up , new coat of paint and she,s proper then 👍🏻🏴🚜

I've got a dowdeswell swivel hitch lined up for it👍
Nice one George 👍
You going to take it back to your farm George once all sorted
Good few acres of ploughing left in that metal George
Well Done George your in the big tractorplough club now ❤
Not quite as big as you😂👌👌👌
Now we talk plow ❤

That's a plough and a half👌your in for some big headlands this year.👍look forward to seeing that setup at work👍
Should be a good crack 👍
Hello! Oldie but goldie...
Please dont say "fire her up" im nervous 😅😂
Poor choice of words 😂

The modern tractors hp is watered down by all the electronics and emissions not to mention they use smaller capacity engines 👍
It’s a semi mounted one 👍
Didn’t realise you had sold the tw aswell cracking looking tractor aswell
good fun ive still got a swivel headstock for a dp 2 if you need it and you need to fully ballast the old girl to get the best from her
Is that headstock complete Ian? Have you got the brackets to lock the rear wheel?
Hi Ian, could you send me your details mate, I'm really interested in the swivel hitch and rear bracket, cheers mate 👍
Good video George.
12:52 Nice fishing pond. I should know. 😉 Oh and nice plough.👍
You fished there buh?
@@GeorgeSaunders I fish everywhere but not there... yet. My ponds are across the Big Pond. But I can see the fish jumping from here. 🐟🐠✌ How is Zipper by the way.
Hallo george Nice Film from the new plough when you worked with the plough you brought the half Time on field
George right plough for Tractor ,but have the right Fields , can`t wait to eat my words, need to get wire brushing and painting to match the FW
Damn George, you will almost be done before you begun!😊
think ive got start stop as well
14:42 great content

There's a lot of weight being chucked about, definitely demands respect 👍
Nothing say George, wow , wow, who's😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 a lucky boy.

Tw would romp away with it on light land👍 it'll be a lot more manageable with the pivoting headstock but it's still gonna need a fair headland 😂
Olly blogs has a big plough he uses as a gate blocker thats what you need to have
How many furrows? All the feckin furrows!
All of em!👌👌👌
yes i have the rear wheel yokes
Could you send me an email or message mate so we can have a chat👍
big tractors and tiny farm yards
12” furrow widths?
No top link needed.

I was only joking George when i said you need a bigger plow. I didnt even know you could get one that big
Haha, had to be done mate👍
The top link was only used during road transport..
I realise that now, I was just being massively thick🙈
@@GeorgeSaunders we’ve all done it. To be fair had I dropped the plough on the back i would have done the same thing.👍🏻👍🏻
Olly blogs would have sold you his
