Back in Devon in the 80's we ran a MF520, in its day a reasonable size machine, compared to the new ones it was a tonka toy. A good day was 25 acres, with the break downs seldom managed the magic 25 acres.
Excellent video George, what a fantastic piece of kit! Makes you wonder how we managed with a Massey 780 Special back in the day! Look forward to seeing it in action!
Very nice machine.I always wonder who buys small new combines instead of a larger second hand one. But that is very nice and modern. Well thought out design with all the little touches.
Great walk round video George 👍 modern combines have certainly come a long way 🤔 no crawling into the belly of the beast to grease straw walker blocks 🙄🤣🤣
That little thing looks lovely. Looks a bit bigger than the MF525 I last drove in '86. Thanks for the look round, I always thought the m/c after the Dominators were axial, until I saw a Claas ad last year. They do make lovely combines/ everything, OK I love Claas, like you love Ford.
Well, i heard from the guy who services combine ACs full time around the country, that he currently hears about a lot of reliability issues with Claas and Fendt. From what he hears from his customers, New Holland currently has the best.
@@fermewilmotsagriculturebio3434 Reliability dropped with covid really hard. In my country I heard of a Fendt that couldn't move from the trailer or the engine seized up after they parked it. I even heard some stories about random nuts and washers under the thicc floor carpet, that happened in a Steyr. Our new Absolute already has a new Pro 700 monitor and the first hydraulic line button changed, because the pot meter did give out within 600 hours.
Now sir... I'm holding you to what you said... You won't get stuck.... 😊😅😜 cracking vid sir and combine . I would check where the wires were made or what they were made with just incase its bio whichthe rodents love.. .. stay safe 🏴
Hello George she looks a fair beast I look forward to liz harvest video there’s a farmer I went to school with next door to us he has got a 2175 fastrac and an 8250 both with Cummins I hear them coming a mile off they do roar look forward to the next video and keep up the good work 👍👍
That’s a nice combine. They do have a smart design I’ve just finished wbarley with my new to me 570+ Montana and it likes to eat crop. Access for service looks very good 👍 good luck with harvest.
The wash station is a great idea, back in the day I used to put a 5 Gallon container of water in the M.B. engine compartment of the Dominator that heated it up nicely. It would be nice if they put a remote Fire Suppression system in the engine compartment, and under the Belt side covers. First Combine my Dad had was a Claas Super Combine a traled Bagger model in Silver (1950s) at the end of the day they used to have to carry bags of Wheat & Barley up the wooden granary steps, empty the hired sacks ready for the next day.
Considering it's the first Chinese combine Claas have made for the European market it looks very well made! I visited Claas Harsewinkel combine production in February this year and I saw the Cummins engines on the production line, that are built in the town next door to where I live!
Looks a great combine, really impressive. However why doesn’t it have a chaff spreader ? Our combine hasn’t either, it’s something as I wish it had, as we have problems with the following crops where the chaff fell directly behind the combine.
I wish we could get those small combines new in North America. Claas only has the Trion and Lexion over here, and everyone else has class 6 or bigger machines. Some of us really need a physically smaller machine, something that fits comfortably behind a 15' to 20' grain table or 4 to 6 row wide corn head, and unfortunately the only options anymore are older combines, most of them 30 plus years old. Good machines but getting pretty long in the tooth. I don't understand why the manufacturers seem so hellbent not to import a few of them considering they already produce them, all they have to do is ship a few across the pond and add a few more parts to their warehouse stock.
Good evening George. That's some piece of new kit you have there. Electronics have crept in everywhere on combines too nowadays just hope they're reliable. All singing and dancing machine by the looks of your video. When did Claas drop Mercedes engines in favour of Cummins power plants ? I hope it serves you well for many years to come.
Nice! Seems a big header! No APS ? How do you put the disawners in, is it a lever or is it like the small Tucanos where you have to take the concave out? (Right pain)
so your walking around singing the wurzels song ........' i got a brand new combine harvester' Claas are always the best when it comes to harvesting machines
I was actually blown away by that rear view camera. Good quality vision. Often the cameras are for safety. But guve you such poor resolution. We just got 2x 235 volvo excavators at work. $480,000 machines. And the cameras look like there from a 2008 temu mobile phone!
Yeah the Volvo cameras are quite notoriously bad compared to other machines today. They were good in 2015 but it's not 2015 anymore 😂 I'm about to get a brand new Ew170E wheeler next monday!
@Rx37Legacy exactly. Weird how it's almost 10 years later, and the quality has gotten worse. All excavators are pretty much the same. The only ones that have something that doesn't resemble the quality of looking through a road kill seagulls eyes. Are caterpillar. Their cameras are about 60% usable! Enjoy your new rubber duck!
Nice looking German Combine, but not quite as nice as the Green, and Yellow ones! I am a corn, and soybean farmer from Illinois, almost all of the equipment that we have is John Deere. You represent honest, hard working,no BS Farmers very well anywhere in the world. As muscular as you are,I was wondering if you were a Rugby player,or wrestler at some time in your life?

Cracking looking machine george, hope she does you well, lexion 460 those were the legend days.
Nice combine George bit different from old Dominator I use drive in the late 70s with 6 cylinder Perkins behind the cab.🚜😊👍
Great walk round video George 👍 modern combines have certainly come a long way 🤔 no crawling into the belly of the beast to grease straw walker blocks 🙄🤣🤣

Very nice, George 👍
Claas certainly knows how to make a good piece of kit

So nice of you to let us see the insights of a great machinery like Claas.
Hi George new CLAAS spanner 😀😀 Combine looks good 🤞🤞for harvest Thanks again
got to love Claas bines..:) have to say that's a better demo description than a showroom nice George.
Farms and pilots have got to be the most enthusiastic about new equipment
That‘s a nice size combine. Much better than those redicilously big ones.
That is a great bit of kit. Compact but with capacity and capability with time proven reliability!
Awesome bit of kit George mrs. Saunders will love it 👍👍👍
Very nice George, Liz is going to be a happy lass..
Nice looking farmer size combine, hope your on commission you did an excellent walk around with a good selling job for Class.
Looks a great of bit kit George, Liz will be looking for a drive of it . Great video George 👍 🚜 🔧
Now sir... I'm holding you to what you said... You won't get stuck.... 😊😅😜 cracking vid sir and combine . I would check where the wires were made or what they were made with just incase its bio whichthe rodents love.. .. stay safe 🏴
Thanks George great vid and nice bit off kit.... Take care sir...
What a lovely combine

Very tidy George looking forward to seeing her in the field and hoping you get a good harvest this year.
That’s a nice combine. They do have a smart design I’ve just finished wbarley with my new to me 570+ Montana and it likes to eat crop. Access for service looks very good 👍 good luck with harvest.
Be honest George, you only bought it because of the Cummins motor !!!
She looks a lovely bit of kit, have a good harvest.
Cheers, Poth
Fantastic looking piece of Kit George. Health to enjoy.
Lovely to see you and family are pushing forwards.

Sure want to see some videos of this working! Been going hard at the equipment now with both the T7 and this Evion! 😀
yeah tbh I don't know how you could justify a new tractor and combine in one year especially at the moment, fair play if they can do it
I thought y'all where getting the CR11. this is a nice combine.
Hi George, thanks for explaining about the chaff screen I've always wondered what the function of that unit was for 🙂
Well done on the new combine, looks mega! Hope she works well and smashes all your crops 😊
About time you treated Liz to a new toy George yous been having all the new ones lately .
Hej George. Tillykke med den nye mejetærsker.👍

I visited Claas Harsewinkel combine production in February this year and I saw the Cummins engines on the production line, that are built in the town next door to where I live!
What a beauty George . All the best 💯👌🏻👌🏻
Very very nice mate, Liz won't know herself in this thing.
Congrats George
My grandpa had a Claas combine (destroyer I think?). Sold it about 20 years ago.
Looks a great combine, really impressive. However why doesn’t it have a chaff spreader ? Our combine hasn’t either, it’s something as I wish it had, as we have problems with the following crops where the chaff fell directly behind the combine.
i can't wait to see it working 👍🚜
Great new combine george
Beautiful machine 💚🤍❤️
It's small compared to some out there. Nice one 👍
Hi George great video mate 👍 and very nice combine mate .
Claas=Class 👌 tidy machine
Very nice machine, George 🚜🍶🐄👌
Hand the keys over to Liz and job's a good 'un. 👍

That’s going to need a straight pipe! 😂
And Liz's thoughts? Annual combining videos due soon then?👍
What made you pull the trigger on this purchase? 🤔 As if it weren't too obvious!
She looks nice
Good evening George.

All singing and dancing machine by the looks of your video.
When did Claas drop Mercedes engines in favour of Cummins power plants ?
I hope it serves you well for many years to come.
They buses engines from all over the place. The big combines use MAN engines, I think their choppers use merc engines, and they also use MTU. 👍
Great video, boys and their toys 😂❤
How many acres arable you do?
Very nice, looks like an updated equivalent of our 2013 Tucano 430, very good machine. How many acres you putting through it?
Nice! Seems a big header!
No APS ?
How do you put the disawners in, is it a lever or is it like the small Tucanos where you have to take the concave out? (Right pain)
Nice piece of equipment. Should make a fare difference
Lovely old Job mate!
Will the CHCNAV be going on it?
Great stuff George, lovely machine, well wear to You All💯👌👍🙏😎
so your walking around singing the wurzels song ........' i got a brand new combine harvester' Claas are always the best when it comes to harvesting machines
Not a bad bit of kit George not as good as a New Holland of course but it should be OK if it don't keep breaking down
The back tyres on backwards, is that for the wheels to cut in the dirt for better steering???
Well ware with her👍
Yayyy, George has a new toy = happy chappy 😃
Roll on harvest time..👍
Can’t go wrong with with a Claas
We have an avero 240, quite similar
I was actually blown away by that rear view camera. Good quality vision.

Was expecting a new Holland combine make great smaller combine

bigger trailers now George
Did u consider buying a older lexion that would have higher output to get true the acres and what reason did u go for this combine instead
Always amazes me that new combines are not fitted with fire suppression systems around the engine
My matador combine has the engine behind the tank.
Suppose you wont to do Combining now George ?
Hi George the matador and the senators had the engine at the back behind the tank first 😂
Why are Class combines so highly thought of but the tractors not so much ?
Wat is the selling Price of a Evion 430 +-? Thx😉
German engineering at its best . . 👍👍😁
Wow, all this new machinery and were not even in Saunders Farms. Look after her George. 🤣🤣
Is Liz going to a video on it
pretty
Now comes the key fob isn't green 💚
