Its a very good thing you mentioned to be careful with the dog on the steps since my laby almost broke her leg with the steps on the t7 210 when muckspreading the other day, vet said she was fine but still she screamed so i had to check, thanks for letting people know of this George, good video mate keep it up
We made metal flaps that go over the steps for the dogs and it works well but on the jack russle I lift him up so he doesn't slip :) Yance loves ratting and looking for moles n rabbits to catch. Gotta love farming :)
Couple of laps of chicken wire round the steps works wonders at preventing paws falling through. I've even seen cable tied astro turf on a rig in NZ once, owner driver mind 😂

I really don't like dogs in the cab, this goes back to when I got bitten by my dog after he put one of his legs behind the clutch pedal, you can guess what happened
I agree, not safe to have a dog loose in the cab, climbing all over levers, switches, etc, plus as you point out, the risk of getting trapped and hurt,,,, No, not a good idea!!!

Yard next to me has a pair of 718's, nice bits of kit. 'Rolls Royce of tractors' is what the owner said about them!
