Wow Brent they’re some serious heads there. Can’t believe the flow figures they produce, that’s mad.
This engine should scream once complete… look forward to seeing the rest of the build plus what this monster makes..
Your thoroughness showing again as always… Keep it up.

Get job on developing these heads. I've said many times that removing the 427-Tunnel Port from my 9-second '69 Mustang Pro Stock, and installing a 150 pound heavier, lower-revving Boss 429 Engine ruined a perfectly good race car. And If I would have spent the time and money I spent getting the Boss 429 to equal my 427-Tunnel Port performance level, on further developing the FE 427 Tunnel Port engine, both my career and the early Pro Stock record books would look much different.

Those are beautiful pieces Brent! Question, i know it might be foolish but on a mild build do heads like this still outperform a head like a trickflow? I say mild like street engine that might only see 5500rpm.

Opinions vary as I'm sure you know.
Only speaking for myself here... I put money into my FE because my grandfather bought it new off the showroom floor, my dad and my uncle drove it for much of their lives and now I'm driving it as a 3rd generation with a big old smile on my face and a fourth gen riding along shotgun with the same smile.
      So in short, nostalgia.
As a general rule I prefer to drive things that are a little older and less convenient to drive. I prefer the more visceral experience and try to believe that there's more people out there like me. My 2 cents, 🍻

Once you go over 500 hp, everything costs money. BBC and BBF are too heavy. Best bang for the buck is a boosted LS, but everybody has one. Aluminum block, aluminum head FE weighs in at 450 lbs. and makes well over 600 hp.

Why doesn't everyone wear the same style clothes and drive the exact same car?
