I usually just smash my phone and buy a new one. Seems to relieve the stress anyway..

Agree Tommy..doesn't matter who our opponent is.. I think we actually play against ourselves..like shooting pool..our skills and ability to focus and stay calm. The more stressed I get with GC the more tense my body is and reactions to not enable me to hit perfect. Thank you..many times i have taken "a break" when i loose 3.

I think one of the biggest issues in losing streaks is how well you are using the extra tools and techniques that are available for purchase (the notebook and golf caddie). I don't have either one of these things and play the wind and adjustments by simple instinct. This works about half the time, thus you will notice if you open up all your opponent stats everyone wins about 50percent of their matches. I am at 53 on my main account and play mostly Tours 5,6 and have tried tour 7 just 3 times, where I lost every time. I have just under 4 M coins and 3500 gems, but I spent 50 bucks at least this past year to get them. My main point is that if you want to get better and never have to suffer through 5-6-7 game losing streaks then spend some time and money. Get the tools that Tommy and Jesse and most all the advanced players use to figure out the wind and where to set those dam rings. So far I have resisted because it seemed like it would take away the "feel" aspect of the game. But when you miss ten fairways in a row because you can not figure out how or where to hit the ball...well you get what you pay for...through both money and then time actually practicing these advanced curling techniques. As soon as my opponent uses a charged up Kingmaker, cause he bought 500, and then curls some booming drive with a maxed out driver I know I am in big trouble. When this happens three times in a row I set the game down and am thankful that I only lost some game coins, not a big deal. If you advance to a level that is too hard, fall back without shame. I had a gold shield for one week and lost so much it was pathetic. Now I maintain my Pro 3 level and am up to around 1450 ranking. Slowly getting better, slowly getting more coins and some day I will add the notebook and caddie to my tools and make it to the higher levels. Will I ever be the best player on earth? NO!!! Will I try to keep having fun with this game? YES!!! Because it is a great game and losing is part of every game. Quite a rant but hopefully it will help someone.

@@johnnyjoubert7846 Just finished your novel, lol 😉 If wind is your main obstacle, one thing I'd add is copy or print the wind charts at golfclashnotebook.io for your clubs & watch some tutorials on the ring system. I used that approach successfully before getting the "Notebook for Golf Clash" app & felt it was a game changer on Tours 7+! Sure, the apps makes it easier to track wind for your clubs, especially if playing several accts, but everyone can get the same results without them. Tommy & the rest of us have played more games without apps than with, and Tommy's been epic forever! So yeah, not sure what my point was! 😂 So GG, GL and remember to take those breaks FTW! 👍

Like shooting pool, archery, target practice at the firing range, etc.. all of these activites benefit from maintaining a calm, focused state of mind!
Using proper breathing techniques, like just before releasing the arrow from the bow or pulling the trigger on a rifle, help just as much with GC as with these other activites irl, imo. I try to take a few slow deep breaths, then on my last deep breath I time my shot needle & release while slowly exhaling. When I remember to do this it helps big time!
And yes, take regular breaks to eat & reset your mind.. unless you're in "the zone" and building an epic win streak. In that case, keep doing whatever you're doing to stay right there!
I think the mental game is probably the most important part of GC. It helps us aim true, steadies our timing, blocks distractions & helps us get in "the zone".. all of which are important to keep us from breaking our bankroll management rules & going broke out of frustration. If the stories I've heard about people breaking their phones/tablets while rage quitting are half true.. well, those people are beyond simple advice via YT comments. 😂
Guess I'm writing essays now too.. I should probably just keep going & finish GC Masters Thesis, lol! 🧐📚👨‍🎓⛳

I have found that what Tommy says regarding emotions is very true. When I look back about 6 to 8 months ago I used to really let this game take over my emotions. If I blew a shot I would get so worked up that there was no way I was going to play well. What I have started doing is to just remember first and foremost that this is just a game. Made for us to have fun. Once I took the serious way I looked at the game out of my outlook things were truly just great. Even my family and friends felt I was too obsessed with the game. Honestly once I looked at it as a game to have fun again, I started winning. I am now close to 140 million coins and the stress is gone!

I agree with everything you say and it is also a game therefore when you’re not having fun then stop.
I’m a rookie player (started last August) though I’m master now. Oops no back to expert III after a losing streak.
What I can say is that I go through 3 main cycles. The yo-yo cycle: you win you lose. The winning cycle: no matter how good or bad you play you win. Then the losing cycle: no matter how good or bad you play you lose. I have no rational explanation. These cycles I’m going through can last a couple of days. After 3 lost games in a row I just stop to play and as you say take a break.
As far as bank account is concerned I don’t play in a tour if don’t have at least 5 times in coins the cost to play. Ideal is 10 times, to be safe.
Last but not least it is a business, they’re making millions with this app, and I’m happy for them because they’ve created a fantastic app. No matter how good or bad you are there is a moment you have to pay if you want to continue to play this great game.

Thanks for the advice. I tried your advice and it helped me hit the bullseye more regularly. Interestingly I won my next couple matches then just lost 3 in a row so the effort for today is over. I find it interesting that at one point I played a tour 4 match hoping to pick up a win and played a guy sporting a burning pumpkin ball that went 350 to a perfect spot. He then rolled it to 3 inches from the hole. Sometimes you just have to take your lumps on this game. Good luck everyone!😎

I'm sorry, but that first shot was too hilarious. Purposely aims to the far left of the fairway, then hits it great to the left. Who in their right mind would even set their target there on that course?? Tommy's acting was great too! 🤣

I had a really bad run not long ago...my solution was too open a second account...I was overplaying on the higher tours and hen you're negative about your game, those guys will beat you.
Playing the lower tour with a rookie account was relaxing and enjoyable, it allowed me too play without getting wound up loosing 300k or 1million....
I've won all my trophies and coins back now but still use both accounts.

Why was a losing streak not a problem ever with a lot of players before the updates? Well because the updates made the game almost unplayable.. Look people it's not about hitting the perfect ball or what club you have anymore It's about Golf Clash making money when they make you lose your not only losing the game your losing the balls you need to compete in a rigged game, It forces you to buy more balls and gems I mean think about it a three year old playing the first time with the worst clubs and balls can now beat a seasoned player, look at the stats from some of these players whomping your ass some of these player played less than 200 games but somehow have better clubs like the Apocalypse, The bottom line is it no longer matters how you hit the ball or what clubs you have.. by the end of a 30 day period you'll have lost 9 out of 10 games.

  • @petercraig6802
    @petercraig6802 5 лет назад +1

When I'm playing well, I can place the target precisely and 'guarantee' to hit a Perfect, or at the worst, a Great shot. When I'm on a losing streak I give myself more leeway, allowing extra room in case I hit a 'Good'. Your win % drops a bit, but hitting the rough etc. far less, helps rebuild your confidence.

These are all good advices, which i have followed many months. But since i got promoted to master 1, i lost nearly every game (like 25 losses of 28 games) during two weeks. Now i'm down to tour 1-3 and have around 1000 coins. It's really hard to not freak out after i played tour 10 successfully until master 1 promotion. It's not fun anymore. I just play the game, because i always did in the last two years and it's only agony. I watched this video because i had hope to get out of this depression, but i think it did not help me.

I use 30 times rule. I mean it's impossible to lose 30 games in a strike. With 30 times rule, I only play tour 9 when my coins are up 14.3 million and I will play tour 10 when my coins are more than 46 million. I started 30 times rule with tour 5. I mean I did not play tour 6 until my coins reach 300,000. Now I have 20 million coins and 30 times the rule works perfect for me. I do not need to worry or buy coins

Just a thought... If your win % is just over 50% (Mine is 55%) that means out of 250 games you will win only 137.5 games.

What do you do when you lose your bankroll ($300K in tour 6 to lose to $200K). Moved down to tour 5 ($200K to $100K), Moved to Tour 4 and it continues. Down to $93K. All loses are in the shootouts.

Nonsense! most of my loosing streaks come from playing replays. When you play a replay rather than a live opponent, you are playing a hand picked replay. Hand picked by the playdemic team. If you play a replay that goes to a playoff round, and you both hit a hole in one, the game will go to "error code", and you will loose the game. Anyone that's been around for a while, knows what I am talking about. And so does playdemic. Not all loosing streaks are about not hitting a perfect ball! Beware of playing a string of replays!!!! It happens!

Golf clash is rigged, as soon as you go on a great winning streak they make you play a replay opponent that will beat you, sometimes 7,8,9 games in a row just so you will spent your money on new clubs and balls, how can I win 8'ish wins in a row and the lose the same amount in a row, and do you ever notice in shootouts you will go first 75% of the time, makes no sense

I sadly had to quit this game due to lack of coins and lack of money. I was at 4170 and tour 11 kicked my ass into next week. I had 152M and lost 15, yes 15, straight matches. Instead of stopping I just kept playing determined to force myself out of the losing streak. But now I don’t have the coins to continue so I uninstalled the app. Would be a great app if it wasn’t pay to win.

I stopped playing this bullshit game over a year ago and started to play again. The losing streaks are still not resolved and I have lost over 500 points because of it. Just like it was when it came out. I used to be in the high 1800s with a 54% win percentage with over 1000 games.

  • @SandSeven

Honestly most winning and losing streaks are simply mathematical probabilities playing put. If you're a 50% w/l then you'll lose 5 in a row on average 12.5% of all new streaks started.
If you know the numbers, then you find yourself going even worse than the statistical average, it's time to analyze your play to figure out why, or just pay attention to this vid :D
