The last time out for these big beautiful Bull reds, it was a tough day to say the least. It was early in the season and the bit was not quite on yet and we hooked a total of one Bull and I lost as it broke off in the motor. Ever since I haven't forgotten that Bull Red that was so fun to fight but got away.
This day was way different as big schools of Bull Reds have been moving in and Captain Drey is one of the best at finding them! We hooked up pretty quickly and the bite was non-stop all day! It makes a trip so much nicer when you have a bunch of great guys on in the crew and we really had a great time together chasing these fish.
A huge thanks to Drey and Chris from Thomason Tradition Sport Fishing for the trip of a lifetime and if you want to get on some big Bull Reds, you need to set up a trip with these guys!
