The Little Choptank and Slaughter Creek are some of my favorite places to fish in spring. They are absolute fire until the water gets hot in July. After that, it's mainly rays hitting the line until fall. You guys fished those spots on an outgoing tide, which is usually best for those locations.
I fished the bay for many yrs. I understand that currently the numbers are down. Rockfish die after a fight in hot water. They get acidosis and die upon release

Been doing a lot of trolling in the patapsco lots of slot size the past week or so.
Any tips for rockfish like main bay like bay bridge love point eastern bay mid bay anything like that would be great
If your on a boat then the KI area requires mainly trolling to be successful in the channels. With lures fish the pylons by the bridge.
