The drone footage is 🔥 What an awesome video. I’d love to catch a striper from the yak. I bet it was fun getting towed around by them. Just SUBBED to your channel. 😎
Thank you! This area is actually in Virginia, but not by a whole lot. Maryland does have some areas like this you can take the kayak to though. Check out Jane’s island state park, it’s a very common area for people to kayak fish in the marshes and will be a great starting point to learn at. I find most of the areas I fish on google maps. Look for some good looking marsh and the closest launch you can and get after it!
Great video, my kind of fishing. Get your boat back in a secluded marsh, find the current breaks (or just random baitfish attacks) and catch fish. Surprised you didn't get any reds, some of those areas looked prime and seem to be a lot more reds around in 2024. I fish similar areas within Janes, and while rock numbers are way down over the last 5 years, we still are finding enough to make it worthwhile and some really nice reds mixed in. Look forward to more videos!
Thanks for the kind words! Normally, I would’ve been shocked not to pull any reds out of this area, but we had a pretty intense cold front the night prior. When I got there in the morning, water temps were the lowest I saw all fall at 53 degrees. A little chilly for reds in the shallows
Nice edit on this video! Love the drone footage and good music choice. Looking forward to watching more. What do you use for your setup? GoPro and a mic? Which mic do you use?
Any marshy area on the eastern shore that hasn’t been developed yet is perfect. These areas start in the little Choptank, and continue clear down to the mouth of the bay.
awesome drone shot and catches!
Awesome video!!
@@yugomarinkovic2067 thank you!
Great video! Love the drone footage... really captures the excitement of topwater! 💪
Thank you!
Beautiful shots, useful tips, and a great example of responsible fishing 10/10
Dude. That was awesome footage. The way you showed casting into the school from the drone, good stuff 👍
Epic- the bay is such an awesome place to fish & top waters my fav !

You have gained yourself a new sub sir ! It’s nice to have a nice relaxing fishing vid opposed to the thumb nail loving screamer 😂
Thank you!
Awesome video man! Makes me really want a drone lol. Keep it up. Maybe I'll see ya on the bay someday!
Thank you! I'll be out there! Keep an eye out for the yellow compass.
It's amazing how much they miss it. I need to get my GoPro out there again.
That fishing trip would of been the best day of my life. Striper are my fav, close second are Reds. Topwater of course
I struggle to choose between the two... but if I HAD to choose one I think it'd be redfish.

6:05 it's like a nature documentary- now with fishing! :3
edit: 9:02 woooah!
That striper should catch a charge for harassing those ducks 😂
I was laughing so hard when I realized what was going on 😂

Thanks! I'm running pretty barebones. Just a GoPro Hero9 mounted on my head.
Dang, does a solid job of cutting out the wind noise. Glad to know a mic isn’t “required” for a good video. Appreciate the response
@@BeerBourbonBaits It's not perfect but gets the job done. I try to position myself so the winds at my back and stays out of the mic.
I dont know if you tell your spots ? Could you give me a general area to scout out some spots like the shallow flats like this
