You gotta check out "Ride On" by these guys. You will be blown away at how well they can play a blues song. It's one of their best songs, but for some reason radio stations do not play it, nor do any reactors give it a try. Start a trend!!!!!!!
I totally agree. J and Amber have always asked if AC/DC has a ballad and this would be it. I would have to say that Bon sounds absolutely vulnerable and leaves the listener feeling the same? It's a stunning song.
@@lisaw5604 💯
Yes, Sooooo blueeesssy, love it!
It seemed like Bon knew,
Please pretty please do it ASAP
Bon Scott was such a great fit with this band. He will always be my choice for lead. Always!
Bon will always be the man!
Totally agree!
@@roadkill7314Tbh, he’s so distinctive that nobody was ever going to surpass him. Just have to take Brian for what he is. Still good but not the same, but maybe as best as they could have done.
@kevinmcfarlane2752 I give AC/DC mad props for losing such an incredible front man and going on to have the massive career they did. Doesn't even really bother me that most younger people only know them with Brian. After Bon passed Angus became the star of the show IMHO.
I concur, with all due respect to Brian Johnson...Bon was the bomb!! The epitone of a rock n roll singer....R.I.P. Bon🙏❤️
This song just grabs you by the .......and will not let go. The boys are the soundtrack to millions and million of lives. What a legacy. Damn, even my mother who was born in 1929 (RIP) and who hated almost everything from the 70's, admitted to me that AC/DC had a "certain something" that seemed to energize one.
By the fucking balls. Just say it, don't be a pussy.
"This song just grabs you by the .......and will not let go" a Trump among classics lol
@@aaronbarlow4376 My favorite from Highway To Hell. So much energy. Let There Be Rock and Powerage are my favorite albums by them. The Bon Scott era, will always be my favorite. The songs were better and more variety. That,s my opinion.
Should definitely do AC/DC Let there be Rock (live 1978 Glasgow) it’s prime, high energy Angus. The best of him doing his thing.
Love that.
I'm 70 and AC/DC is the Best Rock and Roll band of all Time.
Everything about this Band is Grade A+++
Malcolm has all the Rockers in Heaven Jealous.
Never Rest in Peace Malcolm
Kick Ass with that Guitar for God.✌
If you want to react to an AC/DC song that will 100% put a smile on your faces you need to react to their tongue in cheek song, "Big Balls"!!!!!!!!!
ACDC have in my opinion created and performed THE greatest rock and roll music this world has ever seen.
Good to see you have found the Bon Scott years packed full of amazing songs that you will not regret hearing
You guys have the best reaction channel BY FAR!
I've been listening to ACDC since I was 15. I'm 61 now and to this day, when I listen to them so do my neighbors!
I’m 55from Penrith and so do my neighbours. 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍🇦🇺EDIT I was about 8 I think maybe 9
You guys have GOT to do Riff Raff Official Video (it's live). It's an amazing example of Angus' talent and the overall energy of the band (with Bon). It's also a banger of a song.
There is no other band better than AC/DC, not even the Beatles or Rolling Stones. They wrote the best hard rock/blues rock songs that were ever written. Im 14 and this is had been my favorite band for a long time now
I know a guy who worked at an ACDC concert in KC. He got to meet the band and said they were the most humble, down to earth guys you'll ever meet.
I think a testament to that was after Malcolm's passing they asked all memorials be sent to the Salvation Army where they could help people who really need it.
Its always amazing how good AC/DC was live. I've seen them 3 times over the years and each time they sounded better live than on the album
Night Prowler is my absolute hands-down favorite AC/DC song. That song Rips & bangs
I never know how Angus can shake his head the whole time without getting dizzy. I've been a guitarist for over half a century and I never dared to do anything like that!
AC/DC is Top 5 all-time! They’ve got a huge library. There’s still lots of great songs (ahead of this one) to get to. This one is still pretty awesome…..and with the GREAT BON SCOTT!!
Thanks, thanks, thanks. Down Payment Blues, Sin City, both rock. The older stuff was just so raw. As many have said it was live , they were some of the best. Thanks again. Monthly? That's what you said. Love you guys
Highway to Hell is hands down my favorite AC/DC album…Back in Black is a tight second but The Highway album got the edge…not a dud on the record…Bon’s last work…never gets old….Powerage comes in third. 🎸🤘🎶
Oh c'mon man! Dirty Deeds? I don't think there was a dud on any Bon Scott album. I get your meaning here. But can anyone tell me a DUD on any of his albums? Curious what some might say...
powerage is awesome 😁
@@royh2112 Your 💯% correct sir!!!
Flick of the Switch is an epic experience as well!!
@@David_Theisen Oh man...that was a great one. Love it even though we were talking about Bon Scott, not Brian, that is always a welcome talk about.
THAT was EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED, TODAY, YA'LL!!! So GREAT to see them in a video from this time period!! FIRE!!! HUGS, YA'LL!!!
When u said there he is Priceless They called him the little man with the big guitar
From one of the BEST rock albums of all time, Highway to Hell (1979). I would like to echo the sentiments of our RSR family, gotta check out "Night Prowler" from this album. Heavy on the blues, rock majesty! 💯🔥🤘
Oh ya i have to crank that song. Its creepy but really good
Shazbot. Nanu nanu.
Great call buddy and throw in RIDE ON to show case the blues influence 👍
I saw ACDC back in 1979 and watching Bon and Angus live was like watching one of those pinball machines where two balls are going at the same time.
Let There Be Rock live 1978 Glasgow and Live Wire in Paris live 1978 are classic AC/DC. Angus in his prime giving his best performances.
Bon Scott ruled the Planet......................... Best front man to ever spit into a mic
Highway to Hell is a fabulous album, one of the greatest rock albums ever, with over 40 minutes of brilliance.
Absolutely love this song. Love Bon Scott. Definitely one of my favorite bands!
Amber & Jay Shocking that no one has requested "You Shook Me All Night Long" It's from the Back In Black album.Ya'll should react to that one
For over 30 years I considered it to be THE BEST SONG EVER!!!!!!......over 50 now, there are a few other really good tunes that might be as good.......maybe. Lol
Soulstripper, Overdose, Touch Too Much, Ride On. These are IMO some of the best AC⚡️DC songs.
This has been my favorite AC/DC song since the first time I heard it Around 1980...Rock GOLD!!
It's been said, but I'll say it again, what a great album. Just one banger after another. And you don't even have time to process this song before it goes straight into Touch Too Much. It was this album that made them international rock stars.
One of the best rock groups ever! I still remember hearing them for the first time and absolutely losing it! If you wanna rock your heart out, listen to some AC/DC.
Saw AC/DC for the first time during For Those About to Rock tour. Headbanged the whole concert and my neck hurt SO BAD the next day. Totally worth it! 🤘
Bon Scott was ACDC. Highway to hell their masterpiece.
My favorite reply from Angus is when a reporter complained that they had a dozen albums that all sounded the same. Angus replied " we do not, we have 15 not 12"
I saw that it was classic … he’s great
I remember when this came out. I was in junior high with my boom box blasting this album everywhere.
You're right! First saw them in '77 and '78, and Angus Never stopped! I've been to over 400 shows over the yrs and have seen everyone pretty much but no one goes as hard as Angus back in the day. And yes, Ride On is a must listen. Slow blues but nothing better. Grab your cigar n kick back n give it a listen. Love your channel!
One of my favourite AC DC songs mainly because of Angus's solos, really slaps hard AF.
the amazing bon scott on the mic...... an absolute iconic track from an unique iconic album
Acdc, If you want blood you got it. Shot down in flames. If you really wanna rock. 🙃
I remember the day Bon Scott died, and I just cried and was in shock. It was a sad day. AC/DC was everything to me at that time.
Angus has his head on a swivel, from the first song to the last, he never stops.
On rhythm guitar and back up vocals Angus's brother RIP Malcom Young..BIG part of the bands sound !
Every song on Highway To Hell is a banger! I remember reading that Angus would loss around 4 pounds of sweat during a concert.
That was actually 4 pounds of alcohol...
Great review guys, so here is a copy of a wiki from a band called Rose Tattoo Aussie band, Harry Vanda and George Young produced the early albums. "Rose Tattoo are an Australian rock and roll band, now led by Angry Anderson, which formed in Sydney in 1976. Their sound is hard rock mixed with blues rock influences, with songs including "Bad Boy for Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw", "Nice Boys", "We Can't Be Beaten" and "Scarred for Life". Their first four albums were produced by Harry Vanda and George Young who also worked with AC/DC. They disbanded in 1987"
Little Lover is an excellent example of Malcolm Young's talented guitar work. The outro has the Young Brothers both playing... I guess you'd say solos... as the song fades out.
You guys have to check out For those about to Rock,(we salute you) by AC/DC, with Brian Johnson on vocals! You'll love it, and it has Cannon fire!
Yes! Please?! Ride on!!! Oh my goodness it is a must! We all have our fav’s, but I guarantee you’ll be like “why have we not heard this before?!!” Absolutely amazing. Love your channel!!
Right there with ya, J. I have never heard this song, but wow. The video is the icing on the cake. He's electric. ACDC
This album is fire start to finish the first AC/DC album I bought in 79 the rest is history and have been a fan ever since. This one is one of my favorite songs from them Ride On is must do song as well I love the Bon Era of AC/DC
Totally agree about the drum sound, Phil is one of the best rock drummers ever.
I love watching your enthusiasm & joy to this song, especially Jordan🤘😎
I'd be interested in them doing an AC/DC double shot of Can I Sit Next To You Girl, both the one with Bon and also the version with Dave Evens on lead.
Intersting you brought up Dale, know one does.
@@jeremiahrose4681 I just think it's interesting to hear it with him on vocals to see what direction the band could have gone in. Rarely do you get a studio version of an alternate possible lead singer out there on a song that made it to a full studio album with the eventual lead.
When our Mum first saw Angus on TV in the 70's she said "Oh that man needs help!" as if he had an uncontrollable problem, shall we say - Two years later she was going to ACDC gigs with us, right at the front at Trentham Gardens in Stoke on Trent, although it got a bit too hectic for her so she moved back but had the greatest time ever. She was a good sport. If only we could still see ACDC at small venues like those - nearest thing is some great tribute acts in small pubs with a 6 kilowatt PA.
Another Australian group: The Easybeats! George Young (the older brother of Malcolm and Angus) is in that group. George helped Angus and Malcom get started with AC/DC.
The Easybeats were an Australian rock band who formed in Sydney in late 1964. They are best known for their 1966 hit single "Friday on My Mind", which is regarded as the first Australian rock song to achieve international success.
My favorite AC/DC album “ Highway To Hell “ !!! It’s one that you put on and you listen to every song on that album because they are all that good!!!!! ❤😊
Let There Be Rock, High Voltage, Jail Break, Dirty Deeds, For Those About To Rock, and You Shook Me All Night Long are must haves to react to!
All of these are definites, especially Let There Be Rock!!
@@LiberalsArePoop Yes, i've been suggesting that one for months!
Was lucky to see them live on this tour - so glad to have experienced Bon and the rest of the band. So good! Still listen to this band from time to time to this day. Love the early stuff. AC/DC needs to be listened to LOUD!!
You said “AC/DC just has a certain sound.” Yes, sir. And that sound is A, D, & G. 😂This band built an empire on those three chords.
AC/DC are an amazing band. Have seen them live. Another 2 Aussie rock bands you should check out are Cold Chisel & The Angels. Both formed in the 70’s. Jimmy Barnes is the lead singer for Cold Chisel & Doc Neeson (Rip) was the lead singer for the Angels. Dave Gleeson has taken over as lead singer for the Angels now. Doc was an incredible front man. AC/DC songs to check out are Cheap wine, Rising sun, Standing on the outside & you’ve got nothing I want. Angels songs to check out are Shadow boxer, Take a long line, Comin’ down and Marseilles. Would love to see you take a look at some of these. I think you both will like them.
That sound is rock and roll!
Probably my favorite song by them... high school mid 70's was magical
Simply magnificent in every way
Great song. Great album. Great band.
And always .. rock on with any music that makes your ears and soul happy 💯✌️🤘
Ok my SQUAD… I know there’s a MILLION ACDC songs to get to but please check out BIG GUNS!!! It was written for a movie called “ Last Action Hero”! The movie and music video STARS ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER !! It’s a GIGANTIC BANGER
My all-time fave band and fave lead singer! Check out Riff Raff for a super under-rated song of theirs. You are both amazing, have a great night!
The thing that always amazed me about Angus is he does what you see here through their entire show!
Y’all should give a listen to “ride on “ it’ll take your mind on a ride !!
We missed the season, but I really love AC/DC's "Mistress for Christmas". I hope you'll check it out sometimes. Sending good vibes!
Rob Angus used to do this for entire Concerts 😳 🎸 2 hours straight 🤘great upload
Good AC/DC song guys Walk all over you is one of my favorite songs by AC/DC. I like what you said as well Jay about being Synonymous with Angus. You go Son! They hype me up too Jay. Watching Angus perform energizes me as well. The Next AC/DC song you need to listen to is Let's get it up! Or Down Payment Blues, Gone Shootin' Sin City, Ain't no fun waitin' around to be a millionaire. Or C.O.D. you guys would love those songs, I already know it! You guys need to check out as well as react to AC/DC'S 1980 Concert movie or film called Let There Be Rock! You would love that movie Jay and Amber!
Espetacular AC DC guitarrista maior do mundo vocês tem que fazer mais vídeos do AC DC abraços sou fã de vocês aqui do Brasil 👏👏👏
Couldn't agree more about "Channeling" Angus while watching him play guitar, or for a matter of fact, Bon Scott as he sings!
Great reaction! Yeah, “Ride On” (album version) is a must-listen, and bluesy as hell. It’s probably my favorite ac/dc song, actually. Bon Scott tears it up. As does Angus, of course. Takes me back to the mid 1970s, and high school, just thinking about this band.
Another one of those “so classic you feel like it came directly from the gods” riffs from Malcolm Young RIP. He was on FIRE this album. “You’re looking so good, under me” lol 1979 gotta love it.
Time stamp. In your mind if you put yourself in High School in 1975.1976 and 1977 you wore bell bottoms, waffle stompers white tee shirt and a tan dress shirt unbuttoned and untucked. your deep in ACDC, Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, Aero Smith, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, that was the up bringing of our time period. Between the vocals and guitar, drums and base. That sound was locked into and mesmerized into our life, thought and culture. For me and others its always great to see younger people today that still love the unforgetable Music.
You Nailed it!!! From waedrobe to top Hits! i graduated 82 and had the pleasure of seeing them twice....and most other bands from Floyd to Rush to Styx Journey ReO Heart The police ....Boston , Kansas Motley Crue Molly Hatchet and Def Lep and of course Van Halen!!
I regret never seeing METALLICA WHEN GIVEN THE CHANCE...passed on a free ticket!
Wow we had it so good back in the day. We were so lucky to have been alive when they hit, hard!.
AC/DC: Let There Be Rock (1980) is a must for any Acca Dacca fan. Filmed in Paris, its a beautiful and funny portrait of the band, and a legendary live performance. Live at the River Plate, in Argentine, has an incredible crowd!
I caught this tour front row in front of Malcolm's mike stand !
It was my third of five AC/DC shows.
...It was one of those nights, when you turn out the lights, and everything comes into view...
Faster than a bullet I clicked. This is a straight banger and really demonstrates Angus's guitar abilities-he deserves more credit than is given
You guys have great chemistry. This video was the best . Amber's reaction to Jay totally getting into it was priceless. Amber I can see when you really like a video, you show your love of the music in your expressions in a beautiful way. Thank you for all you guys do.
It brings a smile to my face when I see young guys like you discovering and loving the music I listened to as a teenager. They just don't make bands like that anymore 😅
This is one of my all time favs. Thank you
One of my favorite AC/DC tunes...EVAH!
A Touch Top Much , Rock n Roll Singer, Flick of the Switch are a must...
Great singer makes everyone happy and makes bon Scott I got to see them live in Arizona at The Rolling Stones concert with devo great music
Ain’t nobody like Bon. What a legend 😍
I got to meet Bon and Angus after their show in Houston in 1979... RIP Bon!
You guys are the f*****g best. Keep up the good work lol
They were a great mostly Scottish band in the 70s , 3 Scotsmen were in that video 🏴 🏴 🏴
Legend has it that Angus has a spot of tea and some chocolate before he goes on it must be some pretty deadly chocolate 🙂 He is a Rock and Roll machine
the 1st rock concert i ever saw..1977, AC/DC opened..Journey 2nd act..Aerosmith headliner..Houston Tx
Funniest description of Angus was he looks like a Hummingbird on Speed. Definitely plays his ass off.
Favorite AC/DC song!
Unbelievable that Angus woz the quite one in the band who had a nice cup of Tea after a gig... legend 🤟🎸
Really glad ya'll did this one bcus it's a one of the favorite songs that we play in the band that I'm in. We always have alot of fun with it at rehearsals. There's alot of killer songs from that time in their elustrous career.
You guys really have to check them out live at River Plate. Live is the true AC/DC experience. I recommend Whole Lotta Rosie or Let there Be Rock from the River Plate concert.
I have often wondered how, even if, Angus managed to avoid concussions after every concert. Every concert I have seen and those I have been to he is non-stop head banging. His neck muscles must be something else as well.
It's so much fun watching you two. I had to laugh when Jay said, "Me and Angus become one." And Amber, I saw this weekend T-shirt with AD⚡HD on it. I don't know if they sell that in kids sizes, but I bet your 7 year old would rock a tee like that.
