Malcolm and Angus Young were from Glasgow Scotland and Bon Scott was from Kirriemuir Scotland, Another fact, Malcolm and Angus Youngs brother George was part of the song writing duo Young and Vanda who wrote "love is in the air" sung by John Paul Young.
"Jailbreak" is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the ninth and final track of their third Australian album Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, released in September 1976.
I'm remembering J from waaaaay back when - the first time he heard Acca Dacca's "Thunderstruck" those few years ago. Your first foray into rock and watching you start out pensive about the song then end up rockin' out. Said to myself, "welcome to rock - the deepest rabbit hole you'll ever dive down." Cheers....
Angus paid his older brother Malcolm the best compliment after he passed away, when he said: Anything I play - Malcolm could play - but I couldn't do what he does on a guitar...(P.S. Along with Shoot To Thrill - this has been my fave Acca Dacca track for forever!) Loved the reaction guys.

Saw them live so many times with Bon as a teenager in Melbourne Australia in the mid 70’s. He will always be their frontman to me, so much charisma and presence. Brian just doesn’t have that!! We could have gone backstage easily in those days, but we were young and Bon was notorious for being a ladies man and we didn’t want to get into any trouble. 😂 None of us wanted a bad reputation! So lucky that I had great parents who allowed me to go with a group of my friends from the age of 14. The best times! And they were special, even from the beginning, and you could tell that they were!!
A local radio station did an AC/DC vs Def Lepard every Friday nite. They played a song from each & listeners called to vote for their fave. The winner got a mini block set of tunes played at midnight. 👍
This is my #2 favorite, off this my favorite album of theirs ("Highway to Hell" being my #1). This album is like Metallica's "Ride the Lightning"...it was a transformation from their early work, into just enough effects/processing to capture the raw hard rock...before "Black" which had a little more of a processed sound and was a bit darker. They were still having tons of fun on this one, with Bon Scott at the lead -- you could tell he loved being on stage. This is an absolute rocker, you can't beat that main riff.
I remember hearing this song for the first time as a kid still. It's been 40 years but I remember sitting in my bedroom listening to all the Bon Scott AC/DC albums over and over and over again. I still know all the words, even if I've not heard them in an age. You should try Night Prowler, Let There Be Rock, Overdose, Sin City, and/or Ride On.
