Angus Young was the main reason why I bought a Gibson SG when I was 13 years old. Saved every penny I could get my hands on for like two years straight. It was worth it. It is still my favorite axe to this day.

I'm 61. ACDC has been my favorite band since I was 16. My 14 year old grandson and I bonded over them.

AC/DC wasn't fake! They didn't care about fads and fashions. Blue collar band for sure. They gave it 120% every show and started on time. Being simple took them to the top where they still are even at their ages. One of the best bands ever!

You can Mr Bon Scott for writing 90% of the lyrics open till his death in February of 1980. One of the absolute best frontman in rock history and up until this day it is always been suspected that he fully Road You Shook Me All Night Long off of Back in Black and probably had some lyrics and other songs but was never credited. But yet his family still receives royalties from that album. ???

You’ll notice back then everyone stood more or less behind Angus because he needed the space when the music took him that stage was his, He’d go so deep into the music and become so exhausted that he’d have to go back stage for a few blasts of Oxygen before the next song, He was a powerhouse running literally from one end of the stage to the other he’d headbang and duck walk like crazy there was no stopping him that’s why the stage is always kept clear.

I rember in the late 70's getting Highway to Hell and Van Halen first album purely by accident when my mother bought nine albums from Columbia House Records and got two bonus albums that she checked off not having no idea who they were! Talk about divine intervention! lmao!!

Bon Scott is the One! Unlike Brian Johnson, he could fucking SING, but still make it sound vicious. He could be seductive and pull the meaning of the song, unlike Brian who just screams everything.
ACDC's Jailbreak (Live at Donington) is a really good one. Has one of my favorite Angus solos in it.
