Brilliant Emmelie Kangaroo strikes are all part of the rich Australian outback experience. Sometimes it is Emus replacing Skippy. As you are enjoying the Hay Plain, you'll really enjoy both the Perth and Darwin roads. Keep up the great photography. Thank you.
Another good video from my favourite truckie, You have a bit of washing ahead of you. The countryside is looking very dry, bushfire season is coming. Thanks for keeping me entertained for a while Miss Emmelie.
Thankyou for a very entertaining blog. After the kangaroo description I reckon you’ll breeze in for Australian Citizenship. Great travelogue with the sun shots. Safe travels.
Never swerve suddenly to avoid hitting wildlife at high speed on Australian highways. You don't have any room to move. If time permits, brake quickly and safely as possible to minimise your impact but keep your direction steady and straight to avoid any chance of losing control of your vehicle and possibly your life. Take care. Great video. Awesome 👌🏽 🇦🇺
I am well aware, we have animals back in Europe too 😇 And also dont brake, unless you are 100% sure you can avoid it, since hitting it at low speed, will probably just injure it, instead of killing it as fast as possible, so it won’t suffer
@EmmelieWCarlsen I know you're the real deal. You're good at what you do. A professional. It's something I can't do, and that's why I'm here. It's great to see you in action. Unfortunately, though, I've seen drivers trying to avoid wildlife at high speed, costing them their lives because of their sudden change in direction. It almost happened to me. It happened so quickly, and I swore never to react like that again. It came out from nowhere but turned back immediately into the bush, but it made me swerve at 100km/h. I had no time to even think of braking, but I had nearly lost control from changing direction suddenly. I will definitely stay in my lane regardless of the outcome, to this day.
The Hay Plain seems to be a state of mind. Take out the kangaroos and you could be trucking on the moon. Love your choice of music, Emm. It's inspired. Your boss must be pleased with him/herself for giving you a job.
i have been following your channel for a while because i am fascinated by the trucks in australia , i grew up with trucks myself here in germany , but of course we don't have such trucks here , but also the country fascinates me with these wide landscapes in the middle of nowhere far away from big cities , so i can understand very well why you like to drive this route
Hi emmelie awesome video and kangaroos were put on this earth to test a truck drivers patience so enjoy all those beautiful sunrises after a long night so wishing you safe miles cheers from Tim in queensland ( keep on trucking )
I really enjoy the video you make and also really great footage of the moon and the roads you travel to get to Morgan in South Australia and also kangaroos are annoying on the road and I can't wait to see your next vlog keep on trucking 🚛🚛👍👍🤙🤙
Another cool vid Emm, especially loved the sunrise. You're starting to sound like a fair dinkum Aussie trucker. Hope you come to NZ sometime so we can add to your vocabulary 🤣 No kangaroos here but plenty of dopey sheep and a few cattle/horses. Stay safe 😊
Onya Emm. Good to see some young people getting into the game. I miss running west. My time is mostly spent running between Sydney and Melbourne now. As for hitting wildlife. Its going to happen. A couple of weeks ago, myself and another truck hit some stray cattle down near Avenel. He came off worse than me. Stay safe out there.
Another great video,You now know that Australian has bull bar on everything, you will lose count of the amount of skippy, that you knock over, they just sit on the white line, just as you roll down the middle of the road at night, bowl over just like bowling pins.Drive safe stay healthy.Ps you pick up our Aussie slang quick, fffffffffffffff😅,
Hi Emmelie another journey again great footage as always, i am from Darwin NT where on i use to hit a lot Kangaroos very week when i was driving Road Trains in the NT and WA they are so fucken stupid on road sense at all. I know what you are dealing with its not nice hang in there you are doing a excellent job welcome to Australia. Cheers Kurt Hansen
Its a good part of the world. I used to do Sydney - Hay (or Balranald if the Adelaide truck was late out) changeovers. Or as per the logbook - Sydney - Waddi changeovers....... Made for some long nights.
You do know, that if I didn’t Timelapse it, the video would be 2-3 hours long? And I really do not have the time or patience to sit and edit that much footage, and I would have no data left, after uploading it
Dont think i would like to be on the same road as you. Your always looking tired and run down. By the way Dont hang your towel over the bull bar Cheers
Well sorry you don’t like the way I look lmao I don’t even bring a towel with me, since I stay at a hotel overnight, and either way, would never hang anything outside the truck
Killing Kangaroos and swearing like a trooper. Getting more Aussie everyday.
Or a trucky. No room for ambiguity with our Emm.
I was thi8nking the same thing
That's one thing i love about driving, you get to see some amazing sunset and rises, and some moon rises are awesome as well👌🤙🇦🇺

Hey Emm, loved this video. One just can’t get enough of the great Aussie Outback and those fantastic sunsets and sunrises. Great music.

Another great video, always enjoy them. You’ve got that Roadranger gearbox sorted. 👌

A55 St George to Dirranbandi, coming on dusk. Never seen so many roos. And a bloody Emu farm with escapees.

Balranald to Hay is such a boring AF road. Also known for some serious accident too. Four years in that area and it was enough for me to
😂love your videos Emmelie
LOLOLOLO LOVE the swearing ...lololol
Your first roo in all this time. I used to hit 3 0r 4 a week just getting to work.
Yea I’m impressed too
Were you out the back of Bourke?
Colin, no Queensland.
Do you travel with headlights on during the day as well? It's a good habit to get into.
Yep, always headlights on!
I hate the people that don’t know how to turn theirs on
@@EmmelieWCarlsen Good on you, sign of a good driver.
hi emmelle nice to see you again love the country roads not the kangaroos longer vloggs please

I used to swear much more back home lol
@@EmmelieWCarlsen It suits you. 😂
Hitting roos sucks :( You've done well to have only hit one so far.
Need to watch out for the wombats too, those bastards are as hard as steel and fly up.
sometimes there's so much roadkill its impossible to avoid it and the smell gets in everywhere
Nice one Emmelie❤
A lot blood in those oversized rabbits 😂😂
Never heard so much bad language in all my life 😅😅. Australia is like another planet.😊
Lucky you have a bullbar on the front.
Thank you Emmelie why did you take up truck driven
I guess it’s just in my genes
And also because I love to travel, love to drive, and this is just a way to get paid to go on roadtrips
Thank u

Yea it’s no longer mine
I upgraded to manual license, so i’m not allowed in the auto’s anymore 😅
Welcome to Aus sweetheart

I want to!
Put a sheet on the sleeper its you home
No, i stay at the hotel in Morgan, while another driver takes the truck to next changeover spot
Hi Emmelia be careful showing blood RUclips can be a bit strict and could result in taking the video down.
RUclips checks each video before it gets published, so I think this is ok, but I’ll keep it in mind
Haha u are even starting to talk like a aussie truckie know 😂😂😂
Lots of fargon blood
You have learnt some aussie language.... f
Camels danger
Not on this run no
fast forwarding really makes your videos sucks, if we want it to fast forward we can do it ourself
