Come Back Please !!! seit 1991 ? der Gig mit " Fatal Flowers " auf der Breminale am Weserufer in Bremen meine Euroband Nr.1 + von UDS haben alle viel gelernt , Great Bass Riff !!! + Tres Manos = Wonderfull Gitarrist , my Nr .1 in Europe !!!
I Was there, sweat my butt off in that mosh pit, no dry part left on my body. They said on dutch television that they recorded a small earthquake when they played :-)
i keep coming back to this video its so awesome. i remember the tryout of their third album in my hometown in holland around this time. both the crowd and rudeboy going mental, to cool
The intro played by 'Tres Manos' and then bass/drums/lyrics come in and the crowd goes fucking mental! Wish I was there in '94! The energy is absolutely insane! And RATM saw it was goed!👌🎸
True - also true was that once RATM overtook them in the charts, the next UDS album was very conditioned/engineered/produced to sound like RATM - in doing so they lost their melting pot duality and became a "copy".
@@PenumbraALaFromage don't share your opinion at all. I'm a big fan of both bands and never saw or felt it that way. Comparing them to ratm is doing them injustice. Apart from the first two, each consecutive UDS album had a different vibe and distinct sound ("Mental Floss for the Globe" & "Life 'n' Perspectives" > Persona Non Grata > Planet Ultra > Artantica). Ratms album sound also drastically evolved over the three studio albums with own material (ruling out the great "Renegades" as they are covers). UDS were just never looking back. I personally would have liked 2 more "Persona non grata" albums, because I don't like the last two studio albums. And last, between 1991 and 1994, a lot happened in the musical landscape. Bands topped the charts that were unthinkable before '91.
They put out five studio albums. Triple X Records reissued them in the US several years back, remastered and each with an additional disc that has a complete live show from the era of the album on it.
UDS...power,pop,rap,boogie..with a twist!!.... ... most favorite band from the 90's besides fishbone,de la soul,NIRVANA....and the last remnants of true punk
that's a lot of rubbish man. Urban dance squad are fantastic but no way are RATM's songs 'the same tunes with different words'. Listen to all of their albums and you'll see how much variety they had, and Zach was a fantastic songwriter himself. Even on their renegades album which consisted entirely of covers they sounded unique.
Man they were brilliant!!!
0:50 Zack De La Rocha is watching :D,
Great that UDS was an influence for RATM, two of the most rocking bands if you ask me
Come Back Please !!!

Such a powerful guitar sound at 12 seconds, and that bass guitar is fucking sick!

RATM has already mentioned that they saw UDS as an influence.

Rage Against The Machine copied/learned from UDS. Although they did a good job, UDS invented it!!! Best band of Holland.
