Damn i will get this BMF from sideshow, awesome Figure i love him its a little pitty that they did'nt choose the option of magnetic headsculpt like Darth Maul we could had have Pers aswell.... anyway if the release 2.0 a worthy one of course then you know how it plays out but i'm really over the moon that we got him who choose to pick him up.

Reagan, solid review yet again. Thank you for showing all of the stuff you can do with Windu. The headsculpt is fine for my tastes could be better but I'll take it. Glad you showed the articulation once again, please continue to do so. It looks like multiple poses can be done which is great. I still have to get Dooku, QuiGon, Yoda, Padme and many more.

I honestly think the headsculpt is fine. Great looking figure. I love the robes and hood. I don't collect light-siders (for now), but wish they would do more like Eeth Koth, Ki-Adi, Depa Billapa, Saesee Tiin, Luminara Unduli, Plo-Koon, Yaddle, Adi Gallia, etc.

Genuine leather is real and won’t have issues over time. Hot toys uses fake leather which is guaranteed to break down and fall apart over time.

MRC your assessment of head sculpts is way off. It looks nothing like Samuel L Jaxkson / Mace Windu. Try comparing to stills from the movie before you provide an assessment.
Too many RUclips collectors seem to think every head sculpt is ''amazing'' and ''perfect'' when they're not. You can't look at this and say with a straight face it's 99% accurate.
Stop trying to be overly positive and appeasing Hot Toys. Be more brutally honest and accurate. We need to hold Hot Toys accountable and not let them slide by on their accuracy and quality.
I understand your cents. That’s probably my own opinion . I’ve seen some great headsculpt . Yet other collectors don’t find good. Lol, So i think it depends on our own eyes. Maybe we see it differently.. that’s why i put in my thumbnail “real world “ lol review. Because once i see it i will say right away how i feel about it.. and even sometimes i hate to see that my video doesn’t give justice as well.. i was like how come it’s different from what i could see in person hahah! It’s weird right? But it’s true. Or probably im not that real picky to say that it’s bad ,im actually excited about this one. And for those who always say that bad to every figures maybe they’re just finding an excuse not to buy it. Because they cant! They can’t get it. Why would you dislike if you never seen it yet in person? And of course just to get to notice by people they will hate and it normal nowadays i think. 🙌🏼💪🏼🍻
You are awesome and the reality of in person makes a huge difference. Truly. Sometimes pictures just don’t do a figure Justice. You are also right about people that are trying to find a reason to not get a hot toy because it’s simply not in their budget. I have this on the way. I love your positivity. I’m very grateful that Hot Toys even exists because they could not or other companies as well. So I think their are great and I’m glad. Some sculpts or more excellent than others but over arching I’m interested in the character not a mini replica of the actor. So as long as it hits well enough I’m like yay cause the character.
@@MRCcollectionventuresI'm not being picky, but I expect accuracy, and it doesn't take a genius to check the accuracy of a head sculpt against screenshots from a movie or tv series. It's because I pay a lot of money for these figures that I expect a high level of accuracy, which is supposedly what Hot Toys strives for. I can tell good enough from photos and from videos reviews like yours whether or not a sculpt is accurate or not. Hot Toys has skated by far too often with inaccurate sculpts, and since they keep increasing the price then I'm obliged to hold them to a higher standard.

With the head sculpt dispute between collectors starting so early on, I’m giving this a miss it has to be not less than 90% perfect in my books. Unfortunately I don’t agree with the host on this video that it’s 99% accurate sculpt. I agree it looks like Chappell from certain angles. HT you need to step up your game 🤔
We have our own opinion. And with collectors saying their opinion without the figures on their hand it’s understandable especially if you don’t have enough money to spend with it. But i like that 90% you give though. You’re right. And there’s still have some room for improvement. Even me im not that really amaze with my video but im happy with the headsculpt . It is still different when you see it in person. I am 99% percent amazed with the headsculpt. Otherwise INart will do better and more expensive hehe. Thanks for dropping by anyway. 🍻✌🏼
Head sculpt looks more like a mix of Dave Chappelle and Sam Jackson

The image on the box looks like Samuel L, but the headsculpt doesn't. Am I the only person here who loves Reagan's accent more than the unboxing. He reminds me of Caesar Milano. Also, his enthusiasm is infectious. Those wrist peg covers are a great idea.

Hot Toys failed to replicate the “herringbone” texture on the tunic. Mace Windu’s tunic has a unique pattern in the film, and this is just solid tan.
“99%” and “nailed the likeness.” Lol, sure bro
Maybe that herringbone is hard to find or more expensive than what they usually use business as usual.
That’s just probably my own opinion. Without the 1% it will never be perfect Lol .. still have some room for improvement .
I love your reviews man BUT I dont like the ""argument"" io the HS is amazing, but you need to have it in your hands to see it... I mean ,if looking a bunch of pics and a few videos a person still dont see the "amazingness" of the HS well, it probably not that amazing right(?)

Looks like his brother. Does not look enough like Sam Jackson to warrant hot toys prices. And no one should buy it just because it’s the best so far. Such a stupid reason. The face sculpt is so off.
The prices on the internet marked up already damn goodluck to those who missed this one. But it’s good for those who don’t really like it. You can save for next version maybe different expression or DX. 5 yrs from now maybe or more .
@@MRCcollectionventures I’m not saving for any version. The woke Star Wars ship has sailed. Disney made me hate Star Wars. And once again I will never spend this kind of money for best so far. Anyone in the industry as long as I have been knows a better version is always down the road. So yes if I wanted one I would wait 5 years. Or if one never came out I would be happy not owning a second rate piece where everytime I look at it I get pissed it looks like crap.
