In my opinion when first playing the game it wasn't that special because it wasn't that long into the game so you really didn't fall in love with ezio but replaying the game is when it became special because of hiw great ezio became

And I love how Altair wears his robes to blend in with the crowd, while everyone else wears them because players need the protagonist to look "badass" :/
From Altair to Edward, all of their outfits are quite iconic. For me, I like every Ezio's outfit to be honest. I think for Giovanni's outfit shows Ezio inherits his late father's legacy and his beginning of his Assassin career and Roman robe was his true personal outfit because the predecessor originally belonged to his father, thus it's no wonder why later games referred to as Ezio's outfit in the later installments otherwise II's robe would be referred to "Giovanni's robe" not Ezio's. Don't get me wrong, I like Giovanni's outfit as well, the later games should've add that along with his son's because he wore it. I assume Giovanni's outfit was lost to the Borgia in the events of Brotherhood, along with Armor of Altair.

Funny detail when Edward first gets the robes is he puts the hood on to look cool in the cutscene, but as soon as he starts walking, he takes it off wiping sweat off like "Okay, screw that, way too hot" lmao. All of these were sick as hell, really takes me back

Edward: Commits identity fraud and inadvertently stumbles upon a several hundred year old secret war
Honestly that's why I like him the best, he goes on a really good arc as a character, at first he's just in it for the money, and the only reason he ends up helping the assasins is because of how badly he fucked them over
Not to mention all the friends he lost along the way. It was more than making amends with the brotherhood, Edward sought redemption.

Ezio getting his father's gear on, Armor of Altaïr and Armor of Brutus. Shay getting the Native Armor and 11th Century Templar Armor. The 11th Century Templar Armor has to be one of my favorites in the series.

honestly, i really don't like shay in the rouge because the templar ideal is to total control for peace not freedom like the assassin but after what i have seen and played rouge, the assassin is too far corrupted with their power and foolishly followed the old - traditional ways which leads to many innocent died.
i now fully support shay with his ideal of protecting the innocent and not letting them be harmed by the assassins even though he is now a templar.
That's the driving force behind much of the conflict between Assassins, Templars and their predecessors. Originally, both factions wanted peace, however they differed in their methods with Assassin ideology being focused on allowing peace through the freedom of people to choose whereas Templars focused on peace through total order and control.
Nowadays there's claims that it's not peace but total freedom Assassins want, which the Templars believe to be far too dangerous given human nature.
You can agree with the end goal of either faction but the real argument is found in the way those factions go about achieving that goal.

Well the suit came from somewhere in the 12th century generation of assassin's. As seen in Masyaf in AC1, All of the assassin's have pretty similar to design to Altair's outfit.
@@RolandBon Yup, I know. In the 12th century, Altaïr's Assassin suit was kind of a uniform. It's just that they could have innovated a little bit, that's it.

Many of them are physcotic murderers and or power hungry maniacs who'll destroy whoever stands in their way or start a war if it suits their interests with no regard for the innocents caught in the crossfire. Many of them openly support slavery and cruelty, they bribe or control many leaders and politicians and assassinating any who resist. The whole point was to kill opposing leaders and place their own puppets to take away the voice of the people.

@@archie-queenie At the start of the game, he gave Governor Laureano de Torres y Ayala information on the Assassin’s whereabouts in the Caribbean. Also, when escorting Torres and other Templars, he killed a lot of Assassins.

Has there ever been an explanation in the lore as to why it's called the "Armor of Altair"? Altair never wore anything like that, even when he was older.

I believe he created that armor using the knowledge granted by the Apple, hence why it is indestructible to anything except cannon fire.
I think that while he made it, he always intended for Ezio to be the one who wears it, knowing that he would thanks to the Apple giving him that sweet future knowledge

I'm pretty sure that every character's rigging are the the same because of the same animation (for example the way Ezio and Aveline, both raise their robes, handling their wrist and braces, and sheathe the swords), starting from the first game until probably Syndicate or Rogue?

I don't think the suit up os that good but Sir James Gunns Armor is one of my favorite outfits in the series. AC2 is still the best suit up imo

- Cool assassin gadgets of AC Syndicate (this one is optional though)

I played Assassin's Creed 2 and finished it 100%. Also, I am 13 years old and I started playing the game when I was 10. And my favorite is Altair's armor. :)

Altair, Connor, Edward and Eivor are my fav assassins, I felt Ezio was too dragged on as a character, I understand why they did it, but how it was for me.
Other assassins: "I wear the assassin outfit because I earn it, through hardship and training for years to be a full fledged assassin."
