I love the imagery of her doing the like vampire float into the store at the beginning. Like the non-walk movement vampires do in some media. And then it's quickly revealed to be a hoverboard she's riding on, and that just becomes part of the video. Fantastic video.

HOW DID THIS SONG GET MORE UNSETTLING it’s still amazing but like damn
The real magic starts from 1:50; thereon, it's a rapturous, almost spiritual reverie, perfect for getting lost in. Masterfully mixed and sonically enchanting sound design, and a very, very powerful outro. In terms of immediate accessibility, "Be Sweet" takes the cake, but this one just feels a lot more special, ambitious and personal to behold. I would even say that this track is sentimental - in a manner, particularly how they build up anticipation and energy over their runtime, that is very similar to Asobi Seksu's Layers. The "yaaa" vocal cue from 3:41 is such a nostalgic touch.

**Honest Thoughts:**
Seriously, the slow gradual build-up from very beginning is so perfectly created. There's clearly a story within this Music Video. There's a story within the Lyrics too. I think this video really captures that dream-like feeling with loneliness included. It's true, she does look like a vampire slowly floating towards the convenient store. The interesting part is knowing that she's not floating at all. The part that I find most interesting is why is she entering this store with blood down her body. Obviously, it's something brutal. The blood isn't the important part here. The part that really builds mystery is the flickering lights, the woman that happens to be the only person there beside her. I want to make a theory that this could be a convenient store that's haunted by two ghosts. Now, I don't think it's difficult to believe that the blood could represent that she's been involved in some horrific accident that means she died. However, the interesting part is why is this other woman there? I think it's related to them sharing something in common. There's a childhood-like innocence here. The music is representing a darker tone as it progresses into something more relatable. The part with her sharing food with the other woman is another part that I think needs more attention. It's clear that the lyrics are pointing towards not having someone give back the same affection, etc. However, there's a deeper meaning here. I think the album tells the story itself but this video continues to be more interesting the more you think about it. "When the world divides into two people" - It's interesting because there's two people in this video. The woman pushing her in a shopping cart is the part that really captures this uneasy feeling. However, I think it also blends into that freedom and innocence that comes with pushing someone you love in a shopping cart. It could be friends, family, anyone you can think of. Even outside, they're eating food. They're still alone though... I'm not sure what to think but the lyrics do not match the title. The title is intentionally misleading to make you think that the video will be sexual, etc.
There's a lot disect here, I honestly could theorize on this for a very long time. I think what this beautiful art showcases is that we can all gather something from this story. Maybe you resonate with this more than others. Maybe you feel the loneliness and coldness showcased in the video. Maybe you recognize the instruments, the sounds that were perfectly added to the soundtrack. The feeling of wanting to connect and be close with someone who isn't quite giving back the same energy which means waiting for something that will never happen. That's another idea that comes ot mind that was also already commented on. It makes me wonder that the two people are the same person but different versions of each other. You could argue that it's the darker side of her slowly gliding towards her true self. There's a lot to take from this and I think what's most important is that you felt something while listening to this music. Awesome SONG! :D 11/10!

This song/video really resonated with me in the midst of feeling isolated and alien and broken after trauma and not getting the support I needed from my friends when I needed it- just feeling starved. After doing some inner work, I like to see both of these characters as me. I get to comfort the broken me and be there for her when no one else is. Learning to be my own best friend, not needing others to meet my needs, and the joy that comes with that is actually very empowering
