Thank you Joni! My heart was pierced last night because I misunderstood a friend’s plea for help. We talked later in the day. I will go see her today. She doesn’t have much time left. She needs Jesus.

Thankyou and The Lord bless you, Joni for sharing the message that is so amazing...I have been able to at least pray, Lord get me back to my effective prayer life..I too have not been experiencing JOY in my soul and I longed to get back to that JOY....I so badly need a light to be struck in the only place where God knows me....I soo praise the Lord for that inspired of the Lord Jesus message.

I appreciate your honesty and your insight.i pray but lately all I can get out is please come Jesus! My daughter has severe cerebral palsy her name is Lacey. She 35 and I pray for Jesus to come get us. My daughter has had a hard life I don't want her to suffer anymore. My mom, who is an amazing woman lives in a nursing home she has dementia. I don't want her to suffer either. I just want Jesus! I want so badly to see and be with him! Hugs Joni you are an inspiration to me. You help me to be a better mom. I pray God watches over your family and you and keeps you safe.

Great advice! Timely, too. Going through what I'm going through (health problems and recovery) I feel like I'm stale in my prayers, too. Beyond thanking God for all He has done and continues to do (I have a list😊) I feel like...how do I go beyond that? I mean, I feel selfish and doubtful asking for things in the future. What will I do with my time when I'm up and walking again? What ways will I be limited when (if it's God's will) I regain mobility? Things like that.
However, I know in my heart that I can come boldly to the Throne of God and, as you say here, basically give it all I got! Don't hesitate, hold back, or be shy. Just say what's on my heart because He knows it anyway.

You are such a blessing, Joni. You have given us one wisdom-packed minute, prayer warrior!! So many would not have even noticed their prayer was lackluster. Others that did notice would have stopped, then just given up and decided to try again later when they were "more in the mood". But Spirit Joni gets right to the crux of the matter- Spirit Joni agrees with the Holy Spirit and tells every part of Soul Joni (mind, heart, emotions & will) to line up to the word of God! And just distinguishing that Spirit Joni (who is always in agreement with God's Holy Spirit since she is saved) is in charge of Soul Joni (and Flesh Joni!) by using the 3rd person to talk to those subordinate parts of herself is a great tool for all of us. You are an amazing woman, dear Ms Joni, thank you for your faithful ministry!!!
