Joni is one of the most authentic and winsome ambassadors for Christ that I've ever seen. I pray that she gets many interviews because of this. Her testimony glorifies God.

Thanks for putting this up. This morning it really ministered to me. My husband is a paraplegic and is having health problems. I was feeling overwhelmed and scared this morning and this song popped up on my fb feed. Joni has been an inspiration to my husband for the past 34 years. The Lord uses her all the time and it is so cool.
If you only knew how deeply moved I was by this entire video! I am a Christian talk show host, who is now in the middle of producing a Christian documentary. Until 2 months ago I didn't even know how to make videos, but somehow God has supernaturally taught me what I need to know in order to keep doing the work He has placed before me. I was deeply touched by Joni's prayer before she sang. I often pray this prayer myself...the balance between self doubt and total faith! What a beautiful job she did! I truly hope this wins the nomination! Congratulations!
I love Joni. She really does cast all her cares upon Him because He cares for her. I understand her prayer was meant to express to God her desire to glorify Him in her music.

I remember reading Joni's best-selling autobiography "Joni" in the 1970s. Her accident and subsequent paralysis were horrifying, but rather than give up or commit suicide, Joni relied on her faith and the love of family and friends to help her through. Truly an amazing woman.

yha Lee-----You said what we all could not say, even better. I used to work for a C4-5 quadriplegic myself and know how it feels to take care of one of these precious people. The life of a quadriplegic can sometimes be very rough, especially you sit in a wheelchair, get turned in bed, do certain routines. I learned a lot of things from the quadriplegic I cared for. I did this alone-----24/7.
Beautiful voice and this song should be nominated for an Oscar mainly to send a strong message to Hollywood that there are thousands if not millions of Christians who do go to the movies. I for one want to see more movies like the one this song comes from and more from Kirk Cameron and other Christians. Please let them know? If we don't speak up they won't change their ways. This is just AWESOME. I was filled by the H/S listening to Joni's voice and message. She already has her CROWN waiting for her in Heaven. She doesn't need any secular Oscar.
Oh my!!! I have followed and loved Joni's ministry for a long time! My road has been long and at times hard, yet never have I experienced what Joni and Ken have been thru. As I listened and watched this, great tears welled up and ran down my cheeks. Starting in May of '13, I have had 5 foot surgeries, two new hips, a new shoulder and lost my gall bladder. In '04, I had a heart attack and a 4-way bypass done. In '86, I blew my back apart on the job, and resulting 6 1/2 hour surgery on 2/5/97 by two ortho surgeons. I do not know not having pain. The bottom line, as Joni says, is, He will never leave me nor forsake me. The mightiest blow was in 2010 when my wife left me on three days notice, having been married 48 years, three girls and two grandkids. Sin (satan) is very real, and he combs the earth seeking to destroy all. And the easiest point to be made is this..."BUT GOD!". He is my strength, fortress and my Kinsman Redeemer. At the Cross of Calvary, His blood washed us all clean. We must do only one thing...reach out and grab the Hand He is extending to us! Isaiah 45:22, the Lord God says it quite simply..."I am God and there is no other"! I shall go each day of my 75th year praising Him Who gave me life eternal! Ken Skeen

I have the tape and also the music. I bought them a couple of years ago and thought the movie was beautiful, as showing the brave children and their faith in God. The song just added to that strength and faith. Those that took it away, paid no attention to its wisdom will one day see their own fear for throwing God away. That day is coming when God decides its the right time. He is waiting for repentance of those that have disobeyed him and continually try to take him from the ones that love him.

Joni Eareckson to me is the epitome of Gods grace. I have followed her ministry for many years now. I have just about everything she has written as well as the movie documenting her accident. She has persevered through her struggles with her quadriplegia and most recently her cancer diagnosis. I literally wept when I heard that news! All I want to say is, God bless you Joni for being an absolute inspiration to me and countless others!

Amazing song, just brings tears of joy and hope when I hear it. The lady who sings is was totally paralyzed for life from a diving accident when she was young, makes it even more meaningful.

Thanks for putting this up. This morning it really ministered to me. My husband is a paraplegic and is having health problems. I was feeling overwhelmed and scared this morning and this song popped up on my fb feed. Joni has been an inspiration to my husband for the past 34 years. The Lord uses her all the time and it is so cool.

If you only knew how deeply moved I was by this entire video! I am a Christian talk show host, who is now in the middle of producing a Christian documentary. Until 2 months ago I didn't even know how to make videos, but somehow God has supernaturally taught me what I need to know in order to keep doing the work He has placed before me. I was deeply touched by Joni's prayer before she sang. I often pray this prayer myself...the balance between self doubt and total faith! What a beautiful job she did! I remember reading Joni's best-selling autobiography "Joni" in the 1970s. Her accident and subsequent paralysis were horrifying, but rather than give up or commit suicide, Joni relied on her faith and the love of family and friends to help her through. Truly an amazing woman.

yha Lee-----You said what we all could not say, even better. I used to work for a C4-5 quadriplegic myself and know how it feels to take care of one of these precious people. The life of a quadriplegic can sometimes be very rough, especially you sit in a wheelchair, get turned in bed, do certain routines. I learned a lot of things from the quadriplegic I cared for. I did this alone-----24/7.

This is just AWESOME. I was filled by the H/S listening to Joni's voice and message. She already has her CROWN waiting for her in Heaven. She doesn't need any secular Oscar.
Oh my!!! I have followed and loved Joni's ministry for a long time! My road has been long and at times hard, yet never have I experienced what Joni and Ken have been thru. As I listened and watched this, great tears welled up and ran down my cheeks. Starting in May of '13, I have had 5 foot surgeries, two new hips, a new shoulder and lost my gall bladder. In '04, I had a heart attack and a 4-way bypass done. In '86, I blew my back apart on the job, and resulting 6 1/2 hour surgery on 2/5/97 by two ortho surgeons. I do not know not having pain. The bottom line, as Joni says, is, He will never leave me nor forsake me. The mightiest blow was in 2010 when my wife left me on three days notice, having been married 48 years, three girls and two grandkids. Sin (satan) is very real, and he combs the earth seeking to destroy all. And the easiest point to be made is this..."BUT GOD!". He is my strength, fortress and my Kinsman Redeemer. At the Cross of Calvary, His blood washed us all clean. We must do only one thing...reach out and grab the Hand He is extending to us! Isaiah 45:22, the Lord God says it quite simply..."I am God and there is no other"! I shall go each day of my 75th year praising Him Who gave me life eternal! Ken Skeen

I well remember the first time that I met Joni at our Gospel Music Association week, and Dove awards celebration night in Nashville, TN. So many people wander the streets across America, and elsewhere depressed feeling so alone. Thank God we can know and have positive Christian Relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of our life, finding life worth living! Jesus is always close, and we in Him are never alone. I have the tape and also the music. I bought them a couple of years ago and thought the movie was beautiful, as showing the brave children and their faith in God. The song just added to that strength and faith. Those that took it away, paid no attention to its wisdom will one day see their own fear for throwing God away. That day is coming when God decides its the right time. He is waiting for repentance of those that have disobeyed him and continually try to take him from the ones that love him.

Joni Eareckson to me is the epitome of Gods grace. I have followed her ministry for many years now. I have just about everything she has written as well as the movie documenting her accident. She has persevered through her struggles with her quadriplegia and most recently her cancer diagnosis. I literally wept when I heard that news!
