I love her. She represents hope to the hopeless. I think of her often when I'm struggling with chronic pain or my mobility issues. God has great rewards waiting for her in heaven.
You visited my school about 48 years ago when I was 12, and you sketched a landscape and talked to us about your struggle to cope with what happened and ultimately moving forward. I have your monarch painting on the wall of my room, and you amazed me then, and you amaze me more now.
Joni is such an inspiration. I can’t imagine what she has been through, yet she still radiates love and the joy of the Lord. ❤

This is a godly prayer. We submit to God's will sometimes God permits our earthly infirmities for a heavenly good. This is what Joni exemplifies for us. I'm with you, though. Sometimes health issues can cause us to loose heart and hope...

Yes we don't always understand why bad things happen to us, especially when we are believing and having faith for the impossible. God is never the cause of our suffering, pain, hurt, chaos or trials. These things happen because of the fall of man, and also because of things that we have done. We sometimes forget that there is a devil who comes to kill, steal and destroy our lives, but Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly, and it is God's will for us to be healed, delivered, set free, made whole, and to prosper in every area of our lives, because it says so in his word. We can't go by our own feelings and emotions, we have to stand on the word of God! By his stripes, we are already healed here on earth! Thank you Jesus 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I remember reading a book about her life, and accident in High School. She's an amazing woman. ( Joni Mitchell?? )
There is no rational explanation for how Joni has made it through 50 years as a quadriplegic. People in her situation are at great risk for any number of complications , many of which she has faced . Joni has known not only the limitations of her paralysis, but other health challenges and crises that have pushed her to extremes.
Yet, she presses on. God bless you, Joni for being that beacon of light that guides others to Jesus.

HEBREWS 4:11 WE LABOUR( BIRTH PAINS) TO ENTER THAT REST! We labour in pain and misery to enter that rest. And out of that rest HIs will be done until we enter that Eternal Rest of coming Home.
I don't think atheists or unbelievers would believe anything she says, unless God moved in a distinct way and opened their eyes to it.
