I had the pleasure of teaching Kathleen and Eamonn this song in her home in The Falls in the winter of 1969. We travelled to Omeath where that evening she first sang it. She sang it again at a midnight concert in Newry Town Hall that night ,where I joined The Flying Column on stage for the reprise late into the night .
