It just dawned on me... does New York have summers? I don't live anywhere near the Americas so I don't know but I'm sure in the movie Armageddon and Die Hard 3 they hinted that New York has summers and it gets hot, so my question is how does Peter wear that Spider-Man outfit along with his casual outfit together without dying of heat stroke?
Not only that but Doctor Octopus as well. Seriously his just a regular middle aged man with tentacles and he fell down 100 feet during the beginning of the train fight and was thrown by Spider-Man into a taxi during the bank heist.
This scene is so sad actually. The way he suits up, he is angry and visually upset, tired and stressed with the way he puts on his mask and jumps to the rescue. It’s his responsibility and he knows he could easily be in bed sleeping but he has the will and heart to save people every night that he can’t stop or people will get hurt. But it ruins his life. It consumes his time. Just a few seconds before this scene he watched his crush walk away with another man because he can’t be there instead. His life is falling apart but the sound of the sirens are his call to heroism. Really deep and sad when you think about it.
Being Spider-Man is like his "scape parh" too, like a hoobie in some way (besides the responsability of course). But deep inside him, he knows he must face his problems by not scape to his Spider-Man alter-ego anymore.
That shot at 0:04 with its accompanying music is perfect. I felt so bad for Peter. He just saw the love of his life kissing another guy, and yet he still has a job to do. Ironically it's that job that's keeping him from MJ in the first place. I love this movie.
Just look how he viciously puts his mask on at 0:07 and jumps and swings at 0:09. That's one sad/pissed off Spider-Man... and things only get worse when his powers fail him. Literally EVERYTHING goes wrong for Peter in this movie. He couldn't even get servings at the Planetarium.

Yeah existential crisis. Peter in Spider-Man 2 is a good representation of real life struggles, suffering from low self-esteem, overworked and always being overwhelmed, this kind of mental pressure would cause any normal human beings into depression and they can’t be themselves so in Peter’s case he can’t shoot webs like he usually does. This film really did a wonderful job showing you can’t be yourself when you are overstressed.
Just rewatched Spider-Man 2 and man I can understand why so many people have it as their best Spider-Man movie of all time. Absolute classic by Sam Raimi

The first one had no 'turtleneck' piece because it's meant to hide beneath his clothes and not be exposed above his collar, the 2nd had the normal 'turtleneck' piece with no mask on and the 3rd is the one where the mask is attached to the turtleneck with the faceshell beneath the mask.

@Shadow Oskay bro yep that's actually how he does it in the comics ( slits in the suits wrists which allowed a tiny tube to come out that could shoot out webs )
His suit is made out of fabric so his web is wer and becomes sticky so it goes through
Watch the first movie when he saves MJ from green goblin on the roof thingy you can see a patch of skin showing out where his webs can shoot out
