@@nemlol hey mate, small scratches are not visible on the black surface, so I cannot really compare directly to stainless steel. But lookswise, it still looks brand new, no visible dings either. The clasp made from steel and painted black has lost a little color on the corners. Keep in mind that I dont use this watch very regularly though as I always get new watches I need to wear for a while before reviewing them. But occasinally I do pick it up because it is so unique from the rest of my collection

@@RIOLOGY Honestly yea, I prefer a rubber strap or nato strap over bracelet and leather. I'll give it the plastic escapement I find as a weak point. Looking at the webpage for this watch, tells me next to nothing about it. While I try to watch reviews before purchasing a watch, the website of the watch is where I first decide whether its worth to even look further into a watch. Props to u on giving all the specs and dimmension of this watch on your review, I won't take away from the work u put in. Looking at the watch itself, honestly the dial looks like crumpled up color paper to me. The forge carbon looks like cheap carbon fiber parts u buy off ebay for your car especially compared to the prx carbon, Formex Essence Leggera carbon, Doxa sub 300 carbon and zenith defy carbon.

For the forged carbon fiber pattern itself, I think it comes down to the shape of the carbon bits that gets forget. It seems that this Aquatrident uses longer bits, hence why its pattern looks wavy, and the PRX uses traditional cut down small bits. In the end, the actual quality of the forged carbon fiber parts themselves comes down to the resin that binds them together, that I have no way of testning myself. Atleast this watch has pretty much stayed solid for the 5 months I have had it for so far, including exposing it to water. The movement is a proper Swiss Sellita SW200, although I woulndt mind having a chinese PT5000 movement inside to save some bucks as I have good confidence in both movements.
I dont like cyclops either, I wish I knew I could have messaged the seller and ask for a watch without it. 😭 Becuase they offer it without when asked for it
