Humans should not be euthanizing ANY healthy animals!!! WE are the cause by not neutering/spaying, breeding, etc. TY for stepping up for her & her pups & giving her the family & wonderful life she & all pets deserve!!! The world needs more people like you!❤

I can't believe they were going to euthanize her when she was pregnant. Thanks for saving a lot of little lives that day. I'm sure the proud Mama would thank you also if she understood what was about to happen to her.
That's what they do with 98% of pregnant animals if they can't get a foster or have no room for them. It's really sad. 😢

I’m just here to say that many shelters and non profits will not do this 🫶 it’s so sad when it does happen but as a shelter worker we have so many pregnant mommas🐾

I love the cycle of continuation. Foster mom saves Ginger and her puppies. Ginger helps save foster kittens. Lots of mothering love.

Ginger is so beautiful and so special. I can't understand how they could even consider euthanizing her. She fits into THIS FAMILY so seamlessly. She is one of the caregivers. And she too is good at it.
The other sad thing is…in Australia (where I am) pitties are a banded breed & if they are found, they are euthanasia 😢

But why ban an entire breed ? Pitties are some of the sweetest, kindest dogs there are. They used to be known as, like, mama/babysitter dogs because of their gentleness. It's not the dogs' fault, it's always the owners if they turn out mean/dangerous. Are other breeds banned also ? Like Chihuahuas, or other small breeds that are actually known as biters ? They're the ones who are the worst biters. Ask any Postman.....
Take care of a pregnant pittie and you'll have a friend and protector for life

So happy you guys adopted Ginger. Ginger is a great mommy. My Pitbull mommy dog had 13 pups for her first litter, then 10 at her second. Thankfully she is fixed now. 😂

Ginger is obviously a great foster helper. It’s clearly her purpose and her calling. I hope Susan is keeping a scrapbook of all of the fosters that Ginger is preparing for their fur-ever homes. What a wonderful legacy she’s creating. This would even be a cool children’s book, Ginger the Fostering Dog.

So much respect for good foster parents to animals. They put so much hard work and time into those that need it. She literally saves their lives and allows them to live a happy life, like all animals should 💜 gives me hope that there is some good in this world, Mr Frodo, and it's worth fighting for 💜

Wow! This was the first story I read today, and what a “feel good “ way to start my day. I am a pit bull lover, we adopted ours from the pound-a brutal environment. They get so much crap about being vicious, etc. This is yet one more example of how loving pit bulls really are. Ginger is beautiful and so giving. I can definitely see why you adopted her. Plus you saved her and the puppies from being euthanized. You did a wonderful thing. All the best in the future. ❤❤😊😊
