This young Lady is astonishing...it's not all about her height or athleticism, She reads the opposing teams position while in the air and places the ball at full power. Instinctual and intelligent. I sure as hell wouldn't want to face her in back row. Yikes!!!
How high she reaches on her spikes is amazing. On top of that she has an outstanding leaping ability. Wow

Volleyball is a fantastic game ... but it's hard to compete for us mere mortals of average height.

Like different weight categories in boxing , they should introduce categories as per the average height of the players.
You say that but even this video highlighting how terrific it is to have a person of her stature on the team, it doesn't mean they will dominate unchallenged. Teamwork and a balance of agility and mobility over raw height seems to be key.
@@Autobright I beg to differ. What you are saying is true when the stature of the players are comparable. We may sometimes find a short player in the group. In my part of the world where the average height of the general public is around 5.5 feets, how coordinated and talented they may be, they can't jump high enough over the net for that kind of spike nor could you jump high enough to block such a spike...how can you win ?
@@amitmayanglambam Watch enough Volleyball and you'll see how. Some people are born for certain things, not everyone. So if a team has enough talented people not born for something but trained enough to own it, people generically born to dominate can be drowned out. Shown in all sports.

No matter how u use only one great player, still you cannot easy win the team with great cooperation among their player. So remember do not use only 1 player, use all of them because each and every player on the court proven to be the greatest player among all of the player from their country.

I could beat her.. if I had a 10 ft ladder.... She was made for this sport.... What an athlete... keep in mind that she has to time both her jump AND her spike, AND while in the air, recalibrate where to aim her shot... Simply out of this world. She alone is worth the price of admission.

We can see the attack pattern. The setter always give the chance to Paola Egonu. The middle blocker just need to fake the opposite middle if the receiver can give the perfect and stable receive to the setter.
