As I am Italian and I like volley, I've seen a lot of Egonu's matches both with the club or with Italy women: she has still huge margins of growth, her potential is much higher than she's expressing now and she's only 21 years old so.. ..I want to dream and think that she wants and can improve a lot!
Proud to have seen Egonu developed through the years since the time I saw her play in 2016 Olympic qualifier tournament. She's the most improved Italian player for me alongside Sylla (not sure w spelling) .

Egonu is good but like in VNL against China, she lost composure & couldnt deliver. Zhu Ting stays composed & when the tension & pressure is high, thats when Zhu shows her class

Even though the Turks have a man playing in their team, they still got hammered by the italian team..LOL As for Kim, Boskovic and the rest of her team still have a lot of practice to do in order to be at the level of the Italian beauties powerhouse team, clearly they can't match up LOL... In my opinion, her performance has decreased. The way she attacks is not as crazy as it used to be when she would play with long hair. She looked like a totally killer back then. Now, they not as strong
She's more controlled now and developed so much compared before. She has a lot of errors because of those power attacks back then. Now she knows when and where to use those power attacks to the point that it is unimaginable to block.
