I have not tried that yet. I’m guessing it would still work though if replace if with corn starch. However, it doesn’t create the same chewy consistency as tapioca starch. Let us know if you try it and how it works out for you.

Tapioca starch
Some people say tapioca starch and some say tapioca flour. It’s the same thing.
There is no tapioca starch here can i replace corn starch if ever
