God Deuceler is such an amazing commentator. I love it when he commentates on any run. His commentary on Bich's run of FF5 for ESA was amazing too.
One of my favorite runs. He's got a great personality.
This run and that run are my two favorites of all time. The deuce bich combo is just too good.

Okay so I played this game through a bunch of times, and I always thought that the ending was that you left the videogame and came to *our* (i.e., the players') world, not that you go back to boring level 1. Which was a kinda lame ending, but in a meta these-characters-were-trapped-in-a-videogame-all-along sense, not in an anticlimactic sense. This is supported by the fact that in the original Japanese text, one of the levels has a fake "high scores" listing of other players who attempted and died, with your own entry left blank.

I feel kinda disappointed that the mutant wasn't loaded up with saws on the rush to Suzaku.
Very fun to watch! I played this game as a kid and didn't realize until now how crappy it actually is ha. FF Legend 2 was a major improvement.
Always remember to keep track of your bouillon values, gamers!
ESP = 100% dodge any physical attack like you were using a shield.

36:54 I didn't see a Phantasy Star run, so it must've been an individual stream or something. But why isn't there a Phantasy Star game in this RPGLB? Oh well, maybe next time.
There was up until a couple weeks before the event. Phantasy Star 2 any% was taken. Sadly, neither the initial runner nor the backup could make it.
Attack MELT seems to be a percentage based. I took a 300hp mutant into tower floor 1. Ran into a slime which MELTed 71 hp off me.
Can't find any formulae for this on sites.

Yeah this game definitely is not simple. I'd describe it as complicated and difficult.
Are they mispronouncing the "foreign" words on purpose, other than the obvious obake? Because it's actually hilarious how he says "oni" and "boolean"
I'm pretty sure it's a bit, given that they go out of their way to mispronounce everyday, "non-foreign" words if they happen to be the name of a monster.
It can actually be hard to keep a streak of unintentional mispronunciation.
I heard that ESP increases the chance or the magnitude of Mutant changes happening after battle. But I can't confirm.
