Good intention are terrific and admirable, but personal, functional results are kind of a must in interior design.

@jarcha4200 Good design is supposed to create a feeling or emotions...and THIS design is special. You can feel an emotion and be inspired by the Team AG skills too. Just because I am writing about how this makes ME feel, doesn't mean I don't see their talent. That it would be perceived any other way than how it was intended is interesting to me.

I have to watch a lot of television for my job and this channel makes better content than most production companies out there. The way you manage to seamlessly combine fun bits with the actual makeover with tips for the viewers with product placements and sponsorships is honestly inspiring

I'm a crier of association- when Kate started to cry and I immediately wanted to cry. She's a woman who really has had it hard after hearing her stories from the 1st episode. She's so deserving of a home to heal from everything. And the AG team SLAYED it. ❤

I normally have never liked when they paint kitchen cabinets 2 different colors. BUT I really love this. I think it's because it's not white and a color. So pretty and cozy. Can't wait now to see the bedroom and reveal.

All of the separate spaces are stunning, but what really impresses me is the progression from room to room. They flow so naturally from one to the other. The living room, which is calming and comfortable, to the office, which is energized by that kicking wallpaper to the brightness and fun of the kichen, then finally ending up in the calm and restful bedroom. Bravi team AG.❤

I think bedrooms should be anything you want, color wise, patterned, anything! Why? Because it’s personal, doesn’t need to be seen by anyone else, unless you want them to, and, for many of us, is a place to sleep, which is usually with eyes closed. Of course you may want neutral and quiet colors, but you can go the other way, close your eyes, and still sleep there!
Well, this is just spectacular! You are helping people live their best lives by providing the right environment for them to just breath easy and open up to possibility. How fulfilling.

Tears! Everytime there's a reveal, well, now, it is just prior to opening their eyes! I am so excited for the recipient(s)!! What a difference Team AG you make in peoples' lives and how you must feel so satisfied knowing you msde someone's life a bit better! This was like a warm hug for Katie; it's not an apartment, it's a home. If this was my makeover, I would just have to sit and stare - one room at a time - to take it all in. Katie's joy was so evident.

Love the longer formats! Was thinking you could go back to check on older make overs, look how they're doing and maybe give them make overs for their entire spaces. Also a bachelor pad would be a cool challenge, something truly outside your comfort zone perhaps.
It was fun to watch the journey to this reveal. I must say I felt almost involved in it and was looking forward to the reveal. And then, at the final reveal, I myself teared up thinking how I would feel if it were my apartment from years ago! Beautiful job.

This series was super fun to watch. I found myself really anticipating the next episode and you guys made that apartment SO GORGEOUS. Very sweet recipient, too; she and her friends have a great story. The apartment has taken such good care of them it deserved a makeover for being a good nest.
I love 3/4 of the bedroom. I don't love how everything went from earthy and calm to a minimalist black hole. And I feel like the shelves were a missed opportunity for pretty storage and small space solutions. Altogether, the makeovers were great. I just wish everything felt as intentional as the living room and kitchen.
I will advise anyone who is going to cover the face of your radiator covers….use magnets instead of hinges. You will need to remove them during cold months to allow heat to flow into the room. Those hinged doors won’t have enough room to open beside the bed to allow them to stay open. Please learn from my mother’s mistakes.

This is the one that got me to subscribe. It’s a joy to watch your team DIY and budget your way to an emotionally uplifting space for people. I don’t think people realize how important interior design is to your mental health. Good design is an investment worth making in yourself.

Too many things in a space usually sets off my anxiety but Alexandra gives items a purpose. Like when you dump out the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle knowing that they're all going to fit together to create one cohesive picture in the end
